Chapter 7!

*Skyler's POV*

'So you're new around here right?' Josh asked.

'Yup! You wouldn't happen to know where room 16 is?' I replied. Okay that sounded kinda posh?!

'Hey! I'm going there too!' Josh said, grinning like a maniac.

We started walking in what I assumed was the direction of room 16 and Josh turned to look at me.

'So, tell me a little about yourself Skyler.'

'Im Skyler Dallas, but you can call me Sky, if you want.' I said. 'I'm from Nashville, I'm 17, my birthday is 8th of May, so like 2 weeks from now. I love sports...um especially running and lacrosse. At my old school I was captain of the girls lacrosse team...and yeh...I guess that's me!'

'Well, Sky...my name is Josh Mikaelson, I'm on the boys lacrosse team here, but I'm not the captain. I used to play basketball but quit 'cuz I couldn't handle both lacrosse and basketball...!' Josh replied, sounding a little sad...maybe there was a hint of regret there?

I was about to say something when Josh opened the door to a classroom with a 16 on the outside. Underneath it had an extra panel that read:

'Mr. Marsh is our tutor. He's nice but a bit mental...' Josh joked. Well I think he's joking!

We walked inside and I followed Josh to two empty desks near the back of the room. Students were standing around talking to each other and everyone looked happy.

'Hey Sky are you gonna try out for the lacrosse team tomorrow?' Josh asked.

'Yeah definitely! Is there a separate girls and boys team?' I couldn't wait to play lacrosse again, it was literally my life.

'Yeah we have separate teams but sometimes we train together.' Josh replied.

'Sky!' Someone shouted behind me. I turned around and saw Elena running towards me.

'Elena!' I laughed.

The day flew by and before I knew it I was walking to the car park with Elena. The day had been uneventful and Callum had never shown up at school. Maybe I should've texted him? No, I don't wanna sound clingy...he probably just ditched today.

'So where's your car?' Elena asked.

'I drove my bike to school, I don't actually have a car.' I replied.

'You rode your bike?! Oh my gosh...maybe I should start giving you rides to school to save your legs!' Elena cried.

I laughed, 'No, I meant my motorcycle!'

Elena suddenly stopped and stared at me.

'You...have...a...MOTORCYCLE?!' She screamed.

'Elena!' I cried while laughing. 'No need to scream! And yes I do, you wanna see it?'

'F*ck yeh!' Elena said. I grabbed her hand and pulled her across the car park to my bike.

'Well...here it is!'

'Omg...can I try it?' Elena said, bringing out her puppy dog eyes. We both giggled and I said,

'Yeh u can start the engine...but don't go anywhere I don't want you to crush my bike!'

I put the keys in and started the engine. It revved and Elena clambered on.

'This is so cool!' She shouted.

Suddenly the engine started to splutter...and then it stopped.

'Sh*t!' I cried!

Elena got off the bike and said, 'Did I do something?' She looked so worried.

'No...I think I ran out of gas...'

Damn it...what was I gonna do?

'Sky? Maybe I can give you a ride home? You can call the tow truck guy and I can drop you home...if you want?' Elena asked hesitantly.

'Oh my gosh Elena thank you so much!' I cried, giving her a massive hug.

'Its fine! Zac is driving me home, I don't think he'll mind dropping you off as well! Where do you live?'

Zac is driving me home. Zac is driving me home. Crap.

'I live by the old Church.' I said.

Elena nodded and pulled out her phone to call Zac.

Oh god. Why couldn't Elena have driven herself into school today? Why did...he...have to be the one to drive me? If Callum had been in school today...he would've given me a ride home! Or would he have come with Zac to school...

'Zac said its fine. He's just at his locker, he said to wait by the car.' Elena smiled and walked away.

I followed her, I had to didn't I. I was NOT walking home. Even if it wasn't that far, I just wasn't bothered right now. Besides, I won't even have to talk or even look at Zac. Oh wait...I had to thank him...well that would take 2 seconds!

Not if you get lost in his beautiful eyes and get to scared to speak so you stand there like a nervous geek and he laughs at you and you become completely and utterly embarrassed and turn bright red and he tells the whole school and you become a complete humiliat-

'Sky? Helloooo?' Elena said, waving her hands in front of my face.

'Sorry, I kinda spaced out.' I said. That was a complete lie...I'd started talking to myself inside my own head again...was I going crazy?

Suddenly the car unlocked and I jumped. God I was not expecting that!
