Wrapping his arms around me and pulling me into the water, hugging me.
It made me feel safe but that disappeared when I looked at the moon. I hugged harder until I was squeezing hard enough to break his ribs. He struggled with breathing but I couldn't stop, I begged the ocean to stop but she then said, "I can not allow love to take you away from me!" I cried, "I don't love him and if you wouldn't allow love how would you expect more sirens to be born?!" The water suddenly water calmed around me and the trance stopped, I pulled Dante to the surface resting him on a rock. I cried more while saying, "Dante I'm sorry... when I looked at the moon I went into a trance!" He coughed, "I'm okay, I'm fine." I placed my hand on his chest not knowing how to take away the pain, then my hand illuminated and his eyes widened. "The pain it's gone?" I smiled, "Well that's good." He leaned towards me and hugged me and I thought to myself, I will never let him go he is my friend. Nothing more but a friend because I don't think I want to go through hurt again, so just friends... forever. We got out of the water and my tail turned to legs, he walked me to my dorm room. I turned around at my door and said, "You can stay here anytime remember that." He smiled and walked back to his dorm room, obviously he had a hard night and just wants to go to bed, same here. I lied down on my bed and looked out the window and just as I was about to fall asleep Asteria popped in my face. "The ocean definitely likes you." She said, I smiled and thought yeah. I closed my eyes and drifted into a deep sleep, dreaming of me swimming and of a life with no worries.
