Chapter 5: Dinner

Hey guys sorry I forgot to publish yesterday but here it is! Also unedited! Enjoy :)

We all had assigned seats and since no one knew before that Alpha Bellamy was my mate; I sat relatively far from him. After Christopher walked in an awkward silence took over the room, then Zelda's dad told us to take our seats and apologized because we wouldn't get to be by our mates.

He looked nervously at Zelda's mate and that peeked my curiosity. I would have to investigate that later. Zelda was placed next to me and on my other side was my brother.

"Trin I can't believe you didn't tell me about your scandalous lover!" He put his hand over his heart in mock hurt.

"Dominic you found your mate and you haven't told anyone." I whispered harshly.

"That's completely different and you know it. My reason is serious unlike yours."

"Whatever the point is, you know now so deal with it." I looked at him signaling end of conversation.

I looked over to see Zelda sliding her chicken on my plate which didn't go unnoticed by my mom. Slick Zelda real slick. Dinner ended in an hour and our alpha took Bellamy and the important wolves for a tour no doubt talking pack business.

Zelda and I ran upstairs and she was more then happy to take the food.

"Mmmmm." She moaned as she ate a piece of chicken. I scowled at her.

"Get a room geez, I bet not even Christopher could get you moaning like that." She smacked me in the arm and roughly bit a piece of chicken.

Foot steps could be heard outside the door so I tuned into my wolf hearing.

"Okay that concludes the tour. Bellamy this is Trinity's room I suspect her and Zelda are in there as we speak you may hang out here or leave, do as you please. Christopher a word."

I turned on the TV to act distracted. The first channel that came on was the news and it was the accident I had passed coming to the dinner.

"Trevor Mendoza was spotted today in Stilslake and as the cops tried to catch him a wreck was caused, 2 fatalities and one in critical condition. We do not yet have any further information but stay tuned after the break we'll play the traffic recording."

It went to commercial and I snapped out of my shocked state and turned to Zelda who was pale.

"I don't feel so good." I held my hand on my stomach.

The door opened and Bellamy walked in and I ran out to the bathroom. All my dinner came up and it was all because of that one name that just kept repeating in my head.

Trevor Mendoza

I felt like my world was crumbling, it couldn't be him. I didn't need that in my life things were going good for me finally. But of course fate has its way of fucking my life up.

I felt someone pull back my hair and I looked back to see my mom and off to the side a worried looking Bellamy. My stomach clenched as I leaned over the toilet again.

"Mom, he's back." My voice trembled.

"Oh honey." She embraced me. Seconds later Dominic was apart of the hug huddle. I sobered up

"What are we supposed do to do?" Dominic asked.

"We have to tell the alpha." My voice was still a little shaky.

Everyone made their way out the bathroom and Bellamy and Zelda followed me back into my room to talk.

They sat on the bed and I stood in front of them. I looked at each of them before I started talking.

"That was my dad on TV. He's the most powerful rogue in history. When a wolf turns rogue they aren't supposed to be able to shift back human due to the dark magic taking over. Y'all both know this, but my dad can still shift back. We aren't sure how we just know he can and that makes him 20x more dangerous."

I looked at each of them again to make sure they were paying close attention.

"The last time I saw him was when the black magic was fully taking over and it made him do unspeakable things. That man on the news is no longer my father; he's the image of him with no soul. He's here for me and I'm not sure how we're gonna stop him."

By this point Bellamy was clenching his jaw and making confused faces at me.

"Did he ever do these "unspeakable things" to you Trinity?"

His voice was strong yet so quiet. The silence in this room was thick it was almost hard to breathe. I looked down at the floor and nodded my head yes.

When I looked up at Bellamy I wasn't expecting to see him looking at me the way he did.

With a certain twinkle in his eye he said, "I think I know how to stop him!"

He jolted up from his seat and ran out the door. Zelda and I looked at each other with wide eyes before bolting after him.

It had been an hour since we found Bellamy but he was in the alphas meeting office. It was made out of sound proof material so even our wolf hearing couldn't make out what they were saying.

It was getting late and we had swim practice tomorrow so we decided to just head out. I got in my Mercedes and dropped Zelda off first then proceeded to my house at a relatively fast speed.

When I opened the door I wasn't even shocked at what I saw. Guards everywhere and a very tired looking mom.

"Hey Mom I'm gonna shower and then head to bed."

"Okay sweetie I love you. There are guards up stairs and waiting for you."

I nodded and made a heart with my hands at my mom. I ran up the stairs dreading the days to come.
