Chapter Five

Chapter Five, An Exception

12:05PM

Lunch break came around and by this time, the Study Hall was empty as everybody departed from the area and to the cafeteria instead.
One particular guy in a work uniform from the Rose Buds' store, wearing a cap that hid half of his face and having a small bouquet of flowers in his hand, could be seen entering the school's property. Not knowing exactly where he was heading, the, rather young looking, male decided to approach a group of school girls and asked for information.

❝Excuse me,❞ he cleared his throat to get the girls' attention as he re-adjusted the cap, making sure that no one would see his face, ❝do any of you, by any chance, know Park Sabina?❞

The entrance of the Study Hall clicked open as a dainty figure of a female could be seen exiting the room, she was looking rather displeased and taking the notice of how many freshmen girls had formed outside, she closed the door and attempted on leaving without saying anything. But however, her steps came to a halt when one of the girls called out for her,

❝Sunbae, there's a guy here that wants to see you!❞

❝Me?❞ Sabina pointed at herself after turning around and the girl nodded. Confused, she walked back to the group of freshmen and asked the same girl,
❝Who?❞

Not having any informations of the guy themselfs, the only thing the girl could say was that he went off to wait for her at the front yard as he was a little stressed out because of his work, but nonetheless would wait for her there until she arrives. With no further ado, Sabina gave the girls a genuine smile as a thank you before she headed off, only to be called once more,

❝Ahh, sunbae, jakkaman-yo!❞

❝Hm?❞

❝Uhm... weren't you with the new handsome sunbae just now? Where did he go?❞

The question didn't come as a surprise for her, thus, Sabina shrugged and simply replied,
❝He left half an hour ago using the other exit,❞ then, leaving the freshmen with light steps toward the front yard of the school.

Heaving a big sigh of relief, Mark could finally step out of the Study Hall with no freshmen fangirls on his tail, and, man, that was scary. Watching the group split to their own ways, Mark put on his hood and ran off to the direction what he assumed would be to the front yard, after he eavesdropped the short conversation Sabina had with one of the girls.

Looking down at her phone to check the time, just to make sure that she will still make it to lunch, Sabina started looking around as she has already reached the school gate, only that no one was in sight. Tapping the tip of her foot constantly against the ground, she decided to wait there for a few more minutes and just then, she felt a light tap on her shoulder from behind.
Sabina slightly turned around to see who it was, but was greeted by a bouquet of white flowers in the face, with a tiny note hanging above it. However, she did not take the notice of the note, but instead, she decided to question the guy.

❝Who are you, and what is this?❞ she asked in a rather stern tone.

The flower guy gave her a smile and with a friendly nod, he replied, ❝I'm a flower delivery guy. That bouquet was ordered this morning with your name and the delivery adress said, let me see, ahh here!❞
