Part 2

RICHIE'S POV
*BEEP BEEP*
Richie's alarm went off, but for the first time he was already awake. He sat on the edge of his bed thinking over how Eddie responded to his feelings.
"I'm so stupid." He said aloud.
"I probably screwed up our friendship for good this time. Beep beep Richie." He said to himself. There then was a sudden knock on his door.
"Richie! Wake up! Time for school!!" His mother Maggie shouted. He lifted his head up and shouted back,
"I know!! I'm up! I'm up.."
Richie got up from his bed, then opened his door and nodded to his mother.
"Good." She replied. Richie walked to the bathroom and looked in the mirror, it looked like he hadn't gotten enough sleep. He just shrugged his shoulders then brushed his teeth. He walked back to his room, and began to get dressed. He wore his classic flannel shirt with a black t-shirt underneath, ripped blue jeans, and some black converse. He gathered his stuff and put it in his backpack. He walked down the stairs, and said bye to his mother.
EDDIE'S POV
Eddie's alarm went off, but of course he's alreddie awake and out of bed, combing his hair to perfection. He was wearing his classic 'eddie kaspbrak' outfit, khakis, a button pink shirt, and white vans. He threw on his backpack then walked down stairs to his front door.
"Eddie bear, sweetheart?" his mother called out from the living room couch. Eddie rolled his eyes.
"Yes mommy?" Eddie replied as he walked in.
"Forgetting something?" she asked as she pointed to her cheek.
Eddie sighed then rolled his eyes again.
"Bye mommy.." he said as he gave her a quick peck on the cheek.
"Bye Eddie bear, and what'd I tell you about rolling your eyes?" she said cocking an eyebrow expecting an answer from him. Eddie inhaled sharply.
"You said if I keep rolling my eyes, they'll end up staying like that or roll to the back of my head." he said in a neutral tone.
"Yes that is correct, and you don't want that to happen to you, do you?" she asked. Eddie groaned.
"No mommy.." he said quietly looking off to the side.
"Good sweetie. Now go off to school before your late." she said as she swatted her hand around, signaling Eddie to go. Eddie sighed. He then walked out to the usual spot he and Richie meet up at. Eddie then groaned remembering what happened last night.
"Fuck.." he said aloud as he saw Richie walking towards him.
NO ONES POV I GUESS
"H-hey Eds- I mean Eddie.. Hey Eddie.." he said waving to him awkwardly.
"Hi Rich.." Eddie said nervously. Richie played with his hands nervously, as did Eddie. Richie stared at him while he smiled sadly at him. Eddie smiled back halfy.
"So.. uhm.. are we gonna walk or...." Eddie said breaking the extremely awkward silence. Richie's immediately looked away from him.
"Uhh?? Oh.. y-yeah we should.." he said turning away from Eddie walking a bit quicker than Eddie.
"Hey, Rich.. wait up!" he said as he tried to catch up with him. Richie sorta ignored him and continued to walk quicker. Eddie groaned.
"What the fuck Richard." he said sternly. Richie turned around then studied Eddie for a second, then saw he was angry. He always thought it was cute when Eddie got angry, it was more cute than intimidating, he couldn't take him seriously. He couldn't help but laugh at the thought.
"What?!" Eddie said getting angrier. Richie's eyes widened at Eddie attitude.
"Uhm.. it was nothing.." Richie said before turning away from him again. Eddie had enough of Richie's attitude. So he grabbed Richie's hand and pulled the taller boy back a little. Richie's eyes shot to their hands, then to Eddie's eyes. He felt himself blush, it was a light shade red brushed across his face, making his freckles stand out. Eddie looked at him, feeling butterflies in his stomach.
"Rich... " Eddie said giving him eyes contact.
"Y-yes..?" Richie said trying not to look at him.
"I don't want.. y'know.. I don't want that thing that happened last night to ruin our friendship.. please don't let it.." Eddie said turning Richie's head slightly to the side, with his pointer finger, so he'd look at him. "Richie.." he said, wanting a reply from him.
"Why..?" Richie said sadly. Eddie looked at him confused.
"Why what?" he said looking up at him studying him. Richie laughed quietly but sadly.
"Why.. why don't you return my feeling..?" he said as he felt tears fill his eyes. "I thought you might feel the same way.. I hoped-"
"Richie.." Eddie said interrupting him.
"Part of me knew you'd reject me.." Richie continued ignoring Eddie.
"Rich-" Eddie said wanting to say something.
"But.. another part of me hoped you'd feel the same.." Richie said as he finally willingly looked at Eddie. "Part of me.. Part of me hoped you'd love me.."
"Richie!" Eddie shouted wanting Richie to let him talk.
"Clearly that part of me was wrong!" Richie said before tears flowed out of his eyes, then turned away from Eddie, let got of his hand, and walked back home. Eddie was left in the middle of the the street with his jaw dropped and left in confusion. He then thought for a moment. He breathed deeply a few times then decided to catch up with Richie, he caught up with him then grabbed his hand.
"Richie.." he said looking up at him.
"What Eddie? What more do you want other than my heart, because you already stole that." he said sadly. Eddie breathed in deeply then wrapped his arms around Richie's neck then kissed him. This was a suppose to him, but he went along with it, they kissed for what felt like eight to nine seconds. Eddie then pulled away catching up with his breath.
"Richie.. I never said I didn't return your feelings.. all I asked was.. why did you kiss me the other day?" he said as his breathing was still uneasy.
"What do you mean..?" Richie asked as he felt hope again.
"What I mean is.. Richie I was scared it was just one of your jokes.. I was scared that our friendship might get ruined.. Richie.. if we ever get.. y'know together.. promise me.. please promise me that it won't ruin our friendship." Eddie said as he looked up at Richie. Richie looked down at the smaller boy, then grinned.
"I swear.. I wont let it.." Richie replied as he grabbed both of Eddie's hands.
"Does this mean...?" Richie said as he bit his lip then smiled. Eddie smiled.
"If you want to make it official, go ahead.." Eddie said as he rubbed the back of Richie's hand softly. Richie smirked then put on a voice.
"Well then Eddie Kaspbrak.. will you be my boyfriend..?" Richie asked as he leaned in closer to him.
"Why yes Richie Tozier, I'd love too.." Eddie replied with a smile.
