I got out of the car and was amazed, the Northwest manor is huge. Someone opened the main door and let us in. He's dressed in black.

"Master Perri and Master Edward, welcome back." The butler greeted, he looked at me and gave a nod. "Welcome Madame..."

"Nicolette."

"Welcome Madame Nicolette. Master Perri, your mother is expecting you in the study." The butler informed before leaving. Perri looked at us and rolled his eyes.

"Be back in a second, you can go to the pool house out back." Then he left, I looked at Eddie with a face of disbelief.

"He has a pool house? It's like this house isn't enough." I joked. He led me to backyard, if that's what rich people even call it, we made our way to the pool house that was the size of a regular house.

"Want anything to drink?" Eddie asked. He made his way over to a mini fridge and opened it. I peered inside to see ice cream. I snatched it and grabbed a spoon before sitting down on a comfy looking chair.

"He's gonna be mad, I'm not even allow to touch his ice cream." Eddie pointed out.

"He'll get over it." I said simply before taking a huge scoop out and eating. I noticed a handle-looking thing on the side and so I pulled it. I shrieked when the legs were lifted up by the chair. "Cool.."

"So, this is your first family vacation with us. How do you feel?"

"The same, I guess I'm excited. It's not like I've ever been anywhere else besides the Isle." I waved it off.

"Oh yeah, I forgot about that." Eddie sat down the couch with a water bottle in hand. We sat in silence for a while before Perri stormed inside in anger.

"What's got your feathers ruffled, babe?" Eddie asked him. I sent him a look.

"Feathers, really?" I joked.

"Shut up." Eddie muttered, standing to go and comfort his pissed off boyfriend.

"My mom made any agreement with my father that I should stay with him over the summer." Perri explained.

"I'm sure it's not so bad." Eddie reassured while rubbing his shoulders.

"It'll probably be bad." I added, making Eddie gave me a scowl look.

"Not help, Lette."

"That's what I'm here for. Besides, if Perri doesn't want to spend time with his dad then so be it. You don't see me asking for my dad's affection."

"You can at least try to get along with grandpa."

"Well, dearest nephew. Here's the thing, your dear old dad is the golden child, he was born lucky while I was just lucky to be born in my father's eyes." I said, before looking at Perri. "What does your dad do?"

"He investigates paranormal activity. Back in my mom's hometown he helped get rid of a ghost that attacked during a party."

"Was it love at first site?" I said sarcastically.

"Definitely not, my mom and my dad's twin sister didn't get along, which meant that my dad and mom didn't get along." Perri explained. He gave me one look before it turned to an angry one.

"Is that my ice cream?" He asked while I was in mid-eating.

"No."

"You little bi--"

"Okay! Can we all just calm down?" Eddie interrupted.

"But she's eating the last of my ice cream!" Perri complains. I rolled my eyes before snapping my fingers. They both looked at me in confusion.
