1: I mentioned at the beginning of the book that it would have religious aspects. All religions are different, and most religious people think something different, even if they agree on most things. Also, everyone is entitled to their own opinions, even religious people!

So, with that said, Benjamin is no different. Benjamin has his own views on religion, his own opinions, his own personality. Benjamin is just like every other human being. During the book, Benjamin learns to accept Jayden for who he is, yes, he never truly changes his mind about sins, but he does learn that not everything is such a sin.

So, maybe just enjoy the book instead of practically bashing Benjamin for the way he thinks? Just a suggestion, you do not have to actually take it to heart.
