⭐CHAPTER ONE⭐

Y/N's POV

Yow! I am Y/N! I am 14 years old and I love pranking anyone!

Me and my family moved here (Beach City), because of some reasons. I have a cousin named Connie. I like hanging out with her cause she's sweet yet brave. She's also smart. And right now, I'm going to surprise her because she doesn't know yet that our family moved at beach city.

I walked past a donut shop named 'Big Donut'. I saw a little boy with a pink T-shirt and a star on it, his hair is hmm kinda curly I guess. He is with a three weird looking ladies. One of them is a purple skinned lady, she has a lilac hair and she's the smallest among the ladies. The second lady looks like a human but there is something on her forehead, her skin is white. She has a pixie like hair cut. And the last one was the tallest among the three of them, she has an afro hair cut, her skin color is somewhat close to red and blue. She wears something to cover her eyes. And she looks like the serious one among the ladies.

I went in to order F/D (favorite donut).
I sense that I got everyone's attention. Meh, don't really care.

"Hello, good day to you! What would you like to have?" A small lady from the counter asked me. I smirked because something in my head tells me what to answer.

"I would like to have you." I said while smirking at her.

She started to blush and smile nervously.

"I- uhmm. Uhh..." She started to stutter while still blushing. Men, I wanna laugh right now!

"Pfft, hahaha. Sorry for the joke. I'm just kidding! I would like to have f/d." I said while smiling at her. She give me the donut that I ordered and I paid her.

"Thanks! By the way, my name is y/n. I'm new to beach city. I would like you to be my friend if it's okay for you." I said while eating my donut. I noticed that the little boy with the three looking ladies were staring at me so I stared at them too and smiled at them.

"Oh, hey! My name is Sadie! Nice meeting you and welcome to beach city! I'll be happy to be your friend, y/n. By the way, that guy who is sleeping at that table is my co- worker. He's Lars. Don't mind him. And those people that are staring at you are the crystal gems." She said. Wait, crystal gems? What?

"Crystal gems? What are they?" I said not noticing that the 'crystal gems' are behind me.

"We are the one who protect the earth from monsters." I heard behind me so I faced them with a confuse look.

"We are gems." , said the tallest lady with the afro hair.

"Wow, that explains it." I sarcastically said.

"Anyway, my name is y/n! I'm new to these city and I would like you to be my friends!" I said while smiling at them.

"Hello there y/n! I am Steven! I am a half human and a half gem! We also would like you to be our friend, right Garnet?" Said Steven and faced the tallest lady like asking for confirmation.

" Yes, Steven. Hello y/n. I am Garnet nice to meet you." Said the tallest lady. Oh, so she is Garnet. She seemed to not like my existence. Oh well, I'm already used to it, besides, my family also don't like my existence.

I tried to smile at her, wishing they didn't notice my teary eyes. I really hate remembering my family.

But seeing their shocked face, I know that they already notice my tears.

"Hehehe! Nice meeting you too Garnet." I said trying my best not to outbursts.

"Hey there y/n... My name is Pearl. Are you okay?" Said Pearl with a worried look on her face.

I smiled at her.

"Hey Pearl... Yes, I'm okay!" I said trying to be jolly.

Yow y/n! The name is Amethyst. You can call me Ame if you like." She said with a grin on her lips.

" Yow Ame! Nice to meet you." I said with a small smile on my lips.

They all smiled at me with a worried looks on their faces. I felt uncomfortable for some reason.

"A-anyways, I need to go back home... Nice meeting you all!" I smiled and run. I'm not really going back at our house, because I know that my parents would be annoyed if they see me. So I went looking for Connie's house.

Garnet's POV

I know y/n lied about going back home by the help of my future vision. I also felt that I'm the one who made her uncomfortable.

I sigh. I'll admit that I don't really like her existence, because she was really flirty and she likes to prank people. But when I saw her tears, I felt guilt. I checked my future vision about her, and I saw she will go to Connie's house and I also saw that she will encounter a monster so I told what I saw to Steven, Pearl, and Amethyst. So we ended up running to look for y/n.
