⭐Chapter Four⭐

Garnet's POV

I saw y/n lost her consciousness and fell on the floor. I immediately run towards her and carried her. I looked at her face. She looks very tired and hurt. Some tears escaped my eyes, good thing I have my visors on. If I know what will happen to her, I could have saved her and comfort her. But, every time I check the future about her, It shows nothing anymore...

I carefully put her on the sofa then kissed her forehead. I noticed that something glowed at her stomach. I called the crystal gems then we checked what it was.

When we saw it, we were all shocked. SHE'S ALSO A GEM! AND HER GEM IS THE SAME GEM OF STEVEN! Wth?!

I looked at her and noticed that she was crying again. I hold her hand so she would know that I am here for her.

3 hours later

We're still here at Connie's house, waiting for y/n to wake up. I'm still holding her hand.

"Garnet, Connie's parents invited us to eat dinner here. Come on." Amethyst said. I looked back at y/n and look at Amethyst. I know that gems don't need to eat so I'm fine with it.

"I'll take care of y/n. I don't need to eat." I said to Amethyst. She looked at me.

"But Connie's parents wanted to talk to us... It's important Garnet. Come on. Everything will be alright." Amethyst explained. I just sigh. I looked at y/n then let go of her hands. Before I left, I kissed her forehead.

At Connie's dining room

"You wanted to talk to us?" I asked them when we arrived at their dining room. They looked at each other then nod at me.

"Yes, it's about y/n. We want you to adopt her. She can't stay here because she's a half human and half gem. She still doesn't know about this. We want you to adopt her so she would be safe. The parents of y/n that died aren't really her real parents. They are just foster parents. Her foster mom is my step sister, that's why Connie is her cousin. My step sister told me that they saw y/n on the street near their house. They adopted her, but when they found out that she was a gem, they started to hate y/n. They started  hurting y/n. When I found this out, I immediately told them to stop. We said that we're going to adopt her, so y/n would be safe. That's the reason why they moved here, because they are ready to give y/n to us and leave her. As far as I know, they hated gems because the gems killed their friends, that's why they treated y/n like that." Connie's mom told us. We were all shocked about the information that she gave us. I looked at Steven which was also shocked. I know that all of us think that y/n is also Rose's child. But, how come we didn't knew about this?

"Okay, we'll adopt her. We will also tell her the truth about herself." I said then head back to y/n.

The Crystal Gems followed me.

"Garnet, are you thinking what I'm thinking?" Pearl asked me. I looked at her and nodded. I looked at Steven, he still has a shocked expression on his face.

"Steven, are you okay if we'll adopt y/n? " I asked Steven. He looked at me then nodded. I hugged him and then let him go. We started to walk again towards y/n.

When we arrived at the living room, we saw y/n, sitting while crying. We started comforting her and told her that everything will be alright.

She looked at me then said, " I heard what aunt said. Please adopt me... "

We all nodded at her. She smiled at us then fell asleep. We said goodbye to Connie's family. I'm carrying y/n while walking towards the temple. The Crystal Gems are behind me.

"Hey, Garnet, do you like y/n?" Steven asked me. I looked at him then smiled at him.

"Oms! Silent means yes! You do like her!" He said while smiling big. I just chuckled then looked at y/n's face. I noticed that she was blushing. I can see it even though it was evening because of the lights on the streets.

When we arrived at the temple. I slowly put her on the sofa and place some blankets around her. I take her shoes off so she can sleep comfortably.

When I was about to enter my room, I heard her calling my name, so I faced her.

She walked towards me and then hugged me tightly. I was shocked at first but I returned the hug.

"Thank you Garnet for adopting me. I owe you my life." She said still hugging me. I smiled because of that.

"It's nothing y/n. I'll protect you and Steven with my very last breath. " I said. She let go of the hug then smiled at me. I also smiled at her. I noticed that I was going to kiss her but someone interrupted us.

"Get a room you guys! Steven might see you here." Amethyst whispered while laughing.

I looked at y/n, she was blushing so much then she run towards the couch and cover herself with a blanket. I chuckled then walked towards my room.

Goodnight y/n. I said inside my mind then sleep.
