I must admit, I've never believed in Ghosts or Demons, or any of the paranormal and supernatural. I used to think people who worried about those subjects were morons, and used to laugh at the 'Ghost Hunter' shows that would usually air on TV.
I had a lot of friends who believed in that stuff, and due to my indifference and being a non-believer I would challenge them and try to prove it's not real. But proving something that's been unexplained and unknown, especially playing the unknown is really a stupid thing to do. I was sure that all of that were just made-up stories, but I was wrong... This is my story about an eerie experience.
It all started a few years ago, when I was a recent Junior in Salem High school, I had just moved in the early days of October to my grandparents home, and since you all know Salem, Mass is famous for the Witch-Trials, Halloween is really a big deal there. All around the school, they had fliers for Haunted Houses, Haunted Mazes, and Haunted Cemeteries.
A poster on the bulletin board caught my eye, It had symbols of Satanic stuff and it was a bonfire that was going to happen during Halloween night, at an old Corn Maze near an abandoned house rumored to be Haunted, BS, I thought to myself. As I was walking away, this pretty girl asked me if I was going there, I said 'I don't know, are you?'. She replied saying 'yeah, my name is Amy by the way, A group of us are going there, it's really fun.
You should come.
I asked , "What are you going to do there?"
She said. "Just hang out, and tell scary stories." Sounds fun, I replied being sarcastic, shouldn't you go trick-or-treating instead?' She laughed and said that's for babies, she told me she had a Ouija board, and her friend had a Black Magic Book, that she bought in Mexico.
I was kinda surprised, I remember watching the movie about the girl who got possessed by a demon by playing with a Ouija board. 'Oh, a Ouija board, I know about that, I've never seen one in real life, do you think it really does do something?' I asked, 'You bet' she replied. 'You interested? or are you scared' she teased.
Of course I wasn't scared, I was quite curious. So I decided to go. After school finished, I went home. It was Halloween on a Thursday night. Nobody was home, and I was bored. Nothing good on TV, So I decided to surf the internet, I began searching videos about people playing the Ouija board. And everything seemed normal. But there were some, that seemed too eerie.
About how unexplained noises, and movements have occurred after playing with it. There was one in particular, a set-up tripod cam captured chairs, and other objects being moved or thrown with heavy breathing and figures in the dark being captured.
I decided to Google 'Ouija board stories' but real ones, from experience. I found a ladies' story about how her and four of her friends played with the board when they were young, she explained how they talked with a demon, who offered them fame and money, but in exchange for something, very soon.
They all agreed. She says at first they all thought they were just playing around, that one of them was doing that on purpose, pretending to be the demon (Since in the game, you have a triangular object, above an alphabet and it's said a entity force moves the triangle to a certain letter, to spell a word) And so they just played along. Four years later, they all got married and had children, and one by one three of her friends got killed as soon as they won a lottery. And now she was only one left. She had a newborn baby boy.
As soon as he was born he became incredibly sick and doctors couldn't diagnose him. He would cry and scream for no reason, and point in the mirrors around the house, and out the windows at night. She didn't know what to do, so she consulted an old lady who knew about 'other stuff'. After hearing the mother's life story, she told the mother, that the only explanation in her mind was that the boy was being stalked by the demon. Who granted the mother money, and the exchange was her newborn baby.
