"What?" I look at him, in those icy blue eyes.
"Yeah, you're thinking about him." Loki looks at his feet, he seems sorry...wait, what? Loki?! Yes, him; he's definitely sorry, I can say it by the look in his eyes.
"I already told you, it wasn't your fault, Loki."
"It wasn't my fault? Who brought the Chitauri here? Who caused this?" he keeps his arms wide open to emphasize.
"You're not the one who killed Brian, it was one of the Chitauri, and I killed that monster, remember?"
"I do" he answers, that fucking mischievous smile comes back again on his face. "You're trying to fix this...mess, you think that you can make everything feel better by doing something that will help your friends, because you couldn't help Brian last day, this is why you want to stay here with me, isn't it?"
"Fuck you, Loki." I'm sitting on the floor; I stand up, walk away from him, as much as I can, and sit down again, in the corner of the room; I start crying.
One moment before the door opens and Thor comes in to take his brother, I whisper: "I'm here because I love you."
Loki raises his head, looks at me and then at Thor, who's now inside the room with us: "Come on, Loki, it's time to come back home." Thor says, smiling.
Loki keeps staring at me, confused;    that's the first time someone tells him they love him, as something different than a member of his family?! I'm confused too: why did I do that? I shouldn't, not now that I won't probably ever see him again.
