Hey everyone I'm sorry I haven't updated in a while I've had testing for the past two weeks and before that I had writers block so I'm really sorry! Also two of my friends have started books and they're great the people are IAMPadfoot324 and wormtail2006

I'm sitting in the living room waiting for everyone. Hogwarts starts tomorrow! I'm very excited. Today we are going to Diagon Ally. I think we are going for another reason then to just get our books. I think it's to keep Harry's mind off his hearing that was 2 days ago. I've never really left this place well except for when I stayed with Remus when dad was in Azkaban. But that's going to change dad won't be coming of course, but everyone else will. "Mum, have you seen my jumper?" I hear Ginny yell from upstairs. It's absolute chaos right now. I'm peacefully sitting in the living room, but everyone else is yelling, looking, finding, or helping. I was told to wait by the door though. After a few minutes everyone is by the door paring up with people to apparate with. I'm paired with Harry and Fred.

We walk into Diagon Ally. ITS GLORIOUS!!! It's so colorful. After we go to Gringots we stand on the steps. "Ok kids us adults with go get your books and you guys have fun," Mrs. Weasley tells us. "Ok!" Us kids reply in unison.

We all split up. Fred, George, and Ginny go together and Ron, Harry, Hermione, I go together. "Where should we go first?" Hermione asks. "Well I think we should go get some ice cream I'm STARVING," says Ron. Hermione scoffs and says, "Your always starving!" Harry and I are laughing. We go get ice cream and go to a couple more stores. "Are you having fun Ly?" Harry asks, he uses the nickname everyone came up with for me. "Yeah this place is amazing," I reply. "Just wait till you see Hogwarts!" Exclaimed Ron. "Oh I think I have pretty good knowledge about Hogwarts," I say. "How?" Harry asks. "I've read all about it in Hogwarts a History," I say. "Oh no!" The boys say. "Really!" Hermione half-yells. "Yeah, why?" I say while laughing. "They think no one reads that book," Hermione says indicating to the boys. "WHAT it's one of my favorites!" I exclaim. "ME TOO!" Hermione says. After Hermione and I have a good discussion about books and we all head to a few more stores { Which ends up with Harry and Ron holding bags of sweets, Hermione holding bags of books, and me holding bags of books, sweets, and prank stuff.} we all meet up back at the Leaky Caldron and apparate back to 12 Grimmauled Place. "How was it?" Dad asks as we enter. I run up and hug him "Great!" I say.

"Dinner!" Mrs. Weasley yells. Everyone goes down the kitchen. As we eat dinner we start having a discussion about the Hogwarts professors. "Snape hates us and favors the slytherins," Ron tells me. "Well he sounds like a Sour Grape Snape!" I says. Dad chokes on his water and starts having a laughing fit. Remus says in between laughter, " That's way better then Snivillus!" This makes dad's bark like laughter grow louder and I start to laugh the same bark like laughter along with him.

After dinner we all head up to bed. "Make sure your trunks are packed and your ready to leave tomorrow!" Yelled Mrs. Weasley up the stairs. "Yes ma'am!" All the children yelled back. I head upstairs and go pack my trunk. I put on my pajamas and head back downstairs to get some water when I see Sirius and Remus sitting in the kitchen. "Hello," I say. "Oh hello little pup," my dad responses with. "Hey Lyra, what are you doing down here?" Remus questioned. "Getting some water," I tell him. I grab my water and sit at the table with my dad. Remus is leaning on the door frame. "So...Hogwarts," my dad says. I sigh while saying, "Yeah." "What do you think the others will say about your house?" Remus asks "Oh, I just hope they'll realize I 'll still be me," I respond with. My dad looks sad, but covers it up with a smile. "I'll stay if you want me to!" I said hastily. "No! Bloody hell no! You are going to Hogwarts. I've been wanting and looking forward to you going since you born.........your mum and I used to stay up late talking about it." My dad said with a lot of mixed emotions. It was silent for a while. My dad and I never talked about my mum. (or my twin but...I'm not gonna get into that) She left when I was about 3 months old. She said that she couldn't handle it. My father later got a letter that said she passed away do to cancer 6 months later. "I agree with Padfoot," said Remus suddenly. "See, And Moony will be here to keep me company," my dads responds back with. "See Vixen, everything will be fine," Remus tells me. I giggle at them calling us each by our "Marauder" name. They smile. "Ok, time for you to go to bad you have a big day ahead of you tomorrow!" Dad exclaims. "Yes off to bed now," Remus says. "Ok ok," I say to them. We say our good nights and I make my way up the many stair cases till I reach my room. I look down the hall to see my father's.

As I lay in my bed I think about the day that lies ahead. A short while after I got settled to finally go to bed, I hear my father make his way up the stairs and go into his room. "He'll be fine," I tell myself. I'm very excited for tomorrow. I won't be sorted with the first years though. I kept myself worried though. "What if I don't like it at Hogwarts. Of course I'll like it everyone likes it there!" I argue with myself. I'm great at magic. Not to brag. I feel my eyelids getting heavy and realize it must be very late now. I fall to sleep with the feeling of excitement.

Wow a long chapter over 1000 words. I'm REALLY sorry for not posting in a while. But I really hoped you enjoyed this chapter.
