1: handsome jerk

"happy new year!" my friends and all the other people around me greeted each other. here i was at one of my schoolmates' annual new year party. with a red cup in my hand, i went around to look for my roommate, greeting people along the way. i finally found my bestfriend and roommate, park su-ji.

"yah! suji!" i called out to her, "i'm going home now, you have your keys right?" she nodded and hugged me.

"get home safely!" i waved goodbye to her and her friends and started my journey to exit the huge mansion. believe me, it was hard, especially with drunk, sweaty people dancing or grinding with each other. after five minutes, i finally found the front door. i went out and made my way to my car only to see two guys drinking beer on the hood. is this my car? yeah, it is. they seemed sober, so i tapped one of the guys' shoulder.

"excuse me? i'm going home so could you please get off my car?" the blond-haired man turned and looked at me and his eyes widened.

"kim so-hee? is that you?" oh!

"oh my gosh! jooheon!" lee jooheon, my childhood bestfriend. he was my bestfriend since i was 5, but we lost contact since i had to move to america, "i've missed you!" i hugged him and ruffled his hair.

"i missed you too. wow, you've grown taller," he laughed, "back then you were a small dwarf." i rolled my eyes and punched him lightly on the arm.

"do you study at yonsei university too?"

"nah, we just got invited by the host, he's a friend of ours," he explained and looked back to his friend, "oh right! you should meet my friend, im changkyun." he gestured to his friend that was still sitting on my car. "changkyun-ah! meet my bestfriend, come on." the guy looked at me and man, he was so handsome. with his brown hair parted in the middle, some hair falling on the front, covering a bit of his eyes. well, i expected him to smile, maybe shake my hand or atleast say hi, well, those were just my expectations. he ran his hand through his hair and looked at me with his eyes that seemed so emotionless, got of the hood and walked right past us, going into the house.

"huh, what a handsome jerk."
