Tyler is best friends with Caroline and Abby. They all went to high school together. Tyler and Caroline dated almost all of high school. Mid freshman year till after graduation. They broke up for all their college years but they started dating again when they were both in the police academy. They dated for about two years before deciding that they were better of as friends just like they are now. They are super close almost as close as Caroline and Abby. The three of them together is unreal because they instantly start talking smart and nobody but them can understand it. Tyler works cold cases on the same floor as her. He's also worked bomb squad and hostage negotiations and he's very good at it. He's pretty close with the team because they all know him considering he's always around Caroline. Caroline is good at profiling people and reading people, so is Tyler. They often work together on some cases trying to figure out the profiles and when both of their genius minds come together it's quite an amazing sight. They both have IQs of 180. Everyone calls them 360 because together their IQ is 360 and they can spin a whole case around with the facts floating through their minds.
