this is LOOSELY based off of aladdin THE BROADWAY MUSICAL,
n o t t h e d i s n e y m o v i e.
i obviously don't own bts, and they have no affiliation with disney as far as i know. i also did not write the musical or the music, and i am only using it as inspiration.
A FEW CLARIFICATIONS:
i; there WILL NOT be a monkey named abu. there will not be a monkey at all. in the musical, abu's character is replaced by three of aladdin's friends, omar, babkak, and kasim. i have incorporated a few members to fill those roles
ii; there WILL be incorporation of the music part of the musical. since bts can sing and dance (obviously) i found it only fit to include the brilliantly written soundtrack. i will let you know when a song is going to be coming.
iii; the musical includes various plotlines not used in the disney movie, such as aladdin's inner conflicts with his parents. i will make a few executive decisions when it comes to plot, but no major changes will be made just by me. if something entirely new is introduced, it was likely just in the musical and not the movie. and i will write the majority of the dialogue, but i'm keeping the most iconic lines.
iv; yes, one of the boys will be the genie.you're welcome.
