Octavia's POV

I cried for about an hour. I screamed into my pillow. I even ripped into one. Then I cried some more.

All until about 3. I was starving.

But I couldn't get up.

I had to.

So I pushed myself up and slowly limped to the kitchen, a string of profanities leaving my mouth.

Christine was downstairs, reading a cook book.

She never cooked. I don't know, she was weird.

The second she saw me though, she got up and immediately helped me.

"Oh my gosh! Are you okay? I-I mean you...."

I nod, flinching in pain. "I know.... Can you help me get some food?"

She nods, scurrying to get me what I asked for.

The only thing going through my head was the curiosity of what Ethan and Madison were doing.

Did they really have sex? I mean I don't care. It's just.... I mean, I was gone and instead of worrying, he screwed her?

I feel my eyes glass up as more terrible questions cross my mind.

He said we were never dating. He was right. We never did classify ourselves as a "couple." But he never said he had a girlfriend.

I groan and lean my head over on the palms of my hand. My stomach wrenches and I just want to throw up.

"C-Christine.." I mumble, taking a deep breath nauseously.

I hear her footsteps before she rubs my back.

"I know what you're thinking about.... I can go see what they're doing if you want..." she suggests.

I shake my head with malice. "Wouldn't want to disturb them. I don't really care."

Christine raises an eyebrow. "You wouldn't be this upset then.... You care about him."

"Well..." I say, smacking my lips. "Thats going to change."

She purses her lips, pushing her hair back. "I'm going to go see what they're doing."

"Christine-"

I stop, hearing another pair of footsteps   That either belong to Ethan, Madison or Victor.

Someone hums and I can automatically assume that it's Madison.

She continues humming as she walks past me, her head up high.

Madison mumbles something that I'm guessing she aimed at me.

"Sorry?" I ask, turning my head towards her.

"I said stay away from my boyfriend." She repeats with a scowl.

"I'm sorry.... Who?" I question, smiling a little at her outburst.

"Ethan, you skank! Stop bothering him."

I flip my hair behind me shoulders, straightening my posture. "I'm not bothering anyone. If anything, I'm the one ignoring him."

She scrunches up her nose in disgust. "That's not what it sounded like with you going all out on him this morning."

So I push myself up, pain shooting all over my body and point a finger at her. "Listen sweetie, there's a lot that goes on in this house that you don't understand." I growl, trying to look as pisses off and stern as possible.

Her hands slightly shake but she hides it with a small cough.

"Don't try and poke your nose into something that isn't your business." I bark.

She doesn't answer, but quivers away, probably up to Ethan.
I sigh tiredly, sitting back down as I wince.

"So..." Christine clears her throat behind me. "They were cuddling and making out." She cringes. "And then Madison came... Probably not the best idea to scare her. She'll get Ethan to come for you."

I shrug, taking a sip of water. "I'm not scared."

__

He didn't actually come. I didn't even see him for the rest of the day; That was at least, not until I heard a blood curdling scream.

I turn on my light, looking around the room in confusion.

It repeats.

This time I know somethings wrong, so I tear the sheets off of me and use the bed frame to support me as my feet touch the floor.

Ethan's door is wide open and the screaming continues.

Christine is already there, when she turns her head to see me, she runs towards me helping me while I limp.

"It's Madison." I hear her whisper before I see Victor standing with his eyes rolled and hand out forward.

Huh?

Madison clings to Ethan, screaming some more.

"Look what you did!" Victor groans. "You woke them all! Just come!"

She screams louder, holding Ethan for dear life.

"I won't hurt you! Just fucking come, you bitch!"

Ethan looks unamused. Victor looks annoyed. Me and Christine have a small smile on our faces.

"Boy, you better hand her to me."

Ethan bends down and whispers something in her ear as he rubs her arm. She then slowly and hesitantly walks towards Victor.

Victor attempts to looks friendly and smile, but ends up looking like a banshee.

That's okay though. He was taking her away.

As soon as they were gone, I began the journey back to my room, small whimpers escaping my lips.

It was dark in the halls, which made it even harder for me to walk.

At least until Ethan came up.

"What do you want?" I ask as he puts an arm on my hip and another on my shoulder, to keep me up.

"You were slouching so...."

"No, I mean just cause your girlfriend is gone doesn't mean you can stick to me. I'm not your backup. We're done."

He doesn't reply.

"So go!" I say, slightly annoyed.

Still nothing. In fact, his grip on me becomes tighter and he seems to get closer.

I stop moving and turn to face him.

"Ethan..." I mumble, feeling my eyes get wet again. "Please... I'm not in the mood for this."

"So that's okay..." he quietly says, putting both hands on my waist. "Just please..... Let me help you." Ethan begs, looking up at me with nothing but sincerity.

I bite the inside of my lip. "I'm not letting you hurt me again..."

"I know." Ethan simply replies, lifting me up and bringing me to my bed.

Here we go again.

My eyes trace his as he gently puts me down, pulling my sheets up for me. His eyes seems to find mine too, he stares back.

And then he walks over to the other side and climbs in, pulling me into his chest from behind.

I shift to protest but feel his grip once again tighten. "Please." He whimpers this time, clutching my top.

I swear to god I heard his voice crack. I swear.

So I let him stay.
