* Currently Editing- as well as editing all the poems that follow this one*Would you care to know the resentful truth?
For me to open the curtain?
I suppose you wouldn't.My heart is cut like my newly chopped hair.
My heart is frozen, like how time can stand still.
My heart is shredded so are the pictures you once printed.
So now you know,
So now what will you do?
But do not fret,
I wouldn't expect you to lend a hand,
I wouldn't expect you to fix my heart.
I wouldn't expect you to heal all the wounds,
I wouldn't expect you to shove together what you have destroyed.
A piece of me went with you, a piece of me is gone.
But I expect no return,
I wouldn't expect that at all.
