I woke up extremely tired due to only getting a couple hours of sleep. I looked at my clock to see it was only 6:00, mentally cursing as I got up to go eat. Checking my phone I realized that I got a text from an unknown number.
Unknown: hey :) Me: who's this?? Unknown: oh sorry, it's Brodie. I got your number from Brandi last night. I was wondering if you wanted to hang out today? You can bring Brandi along too if you want. Me: yea sure, where are we gonna hang out? (Create new contact:Brodie) Brodie: how about we go swimming at the beach? It's supposed to be really nice today Me: sounds like a plan, I'll text Brandi and we'll be ready soon Brodie: ok just text me when you're ready and I'll come pick you guys up
After texting Brandi and telling her about the plans for today, she walked over to my house that's only a couple minutes away from hers. We started getting ready, I put on a beautiful peach colored swimsuit.

We got ready, throwing all our things in a bag. I texted Brodie to tell him we were ready and he came to pick us up. The car ride there was quiet until Brodie turned on the radio and "The Run And Go" by Twenty Øne Piløts was on. Me and Brandi started yelling the lyrics and being crazy as Brodie laughed at us.
Once we arrived we got all our stuff and payed out our towels, I started putting on sun tan lotion as I caught Brodie staring. I smiled awkwardly before we both started laughing, meanwhile Brandi was already getting into the food. "Lets go swim" Brandi said as she stood up fixing her swimsuit. "Noooo" I groaned as Brandi dragged me up and over to the water.
"Help me!" I playfully called to Brodie as I laughed and reached for him. He came over and picked me up out of Brandi's grip, just as I thought I was safe I screamed, shocked by the icy cold water hitting my skin as Brodie threw me in. I shot Brodie a playful offended look and he smiles adorably at me with his perfect dimples. I thought to myself, no, don't think like that, you can't like him, he would never like somebody like me anyway. I got up and splashed Brodie with water and less than a second later he jumped in, soaking me even more. I laughed as we all three continued to splash each other and play around.
After a couple hours flew by we got out of the water and dried off. I got in the picnic basket and pulled out the bag of grapes, successfully throwing one in Brandi's mouth. By the time we got done eating and talking it was only 1:00pm. And we headed back to Brodie's car and just drove around listening to music, after a while he dropped us back off at my house and we all said goodbye.
Sorry if this chapter is lame and cliche, but the story is really going to build up. Soon there will be a lot of drama. Also I'm sorry if I make any grammatical mistakes, I'm only 15 at this moment in time and I'm trying my absolute best.
