It had been about two months since the party when me and Brodie started hanging out again. Brandi, Brodie and I have been hanging out a lot and we were planning on hanging out again today. Brodie came and picked up Brandi and me, we drove to a small mountain trail. I was wearing a bright yellow tank top and yellow and black shorts (pictured below) and Brandi was just wearing a plain black tank top with black leggings.

We began hiking and I couldn't help but stare at Brodie, he was wearing a tight grey shirt that hugged his torso revealing little hints of his chiseled abs. I tried to keep my gaze down but I couldn't tear my eyes away from him. when he pushed his hair out of his beautiful face I wondered how it was possible for someone to be so perfect. I caught him looking at me a couple times too, the few times we met eyes we would both just smiled at each other awkwardly and I would look away to hide my blushing. It was very silent except for Brandi's occasional complaints and jokes that made us all burst out laughing.
After about 45 minutes of hiking we finally reached the top and stopped to rest. We sat down and talked for a little before Brodie said "sorry to steal her away Brandi" he chuckled "-but Spencer, can I pull you to the side for a moment?" I became nervous and said "sure" following him uneasily as I felt butterflies fluttering in my stomach. "So.." he said awkwardly before continuing as I looked at him curiously "umm.. alright, I just need to say you're are the most beautiful woman I've ever seen and you're such a wonderful person, I've known you since about 4th grade and I've always thought you were amazing.." he paused again and I was blushing like crazy.
"You're the only person to ever make me so nervous, you always know just how to make me smile, laugh, and cheer me up. Spencer.. I really like you, every time you smile;laugh or do anything at all I just can't help but love you..." I smile as I listen to him ramble on being flustered "I'll just get to the point, Spencer I love you and I would be so happy if you would be my girlfriend, so will you?"
I stand there shocked and blushing like crazy trying to find the courage to talk as he stands there looking fearful and anxious for my response. I gazed into his beautiful emerald green eyes as I gently tucked a piece of hair behind his ear and placing my hand in his cheek. "Yes, I will be your girlfriend" I say calmly as he pulls me into a tight hug.
