"Come on, move your feet faster," Misaki said and swung his sword down, his younger sister barely dodging as she jumped back.
"Are you trying to kill me?" She exclaimed, her purple eyes wide and lunged at him only for him to move a step to the side, hit her wrist with enough force to make let go of her wearing before stealing it with his other hand. He smirked and swung both of the swords by his sides.
"No, I am trying to teach you, also this was way too predictable," Misaki said throwing the swords aside to sit down on the grass. It was a beautiful day, the sun was out, there was a nice breeze and not that many people were around for once. They had been training for hours and it was just about time for a break.
Rima sat down next to him and looked up at the sky. "Is he still chasing you?" She asked, concern lacing her voice. She knew about the demon that was after her brother since he was sixteen and it worried her to no end.
"The demon?" Misaki asked and looked at her. She nodded and sighed softly, unsure of what to say. "Yeah, he is getting closer each time I go out," he added and she frowned. He knew what she was worried about; this demon was clearly after him to kill him. Thankfully, Misaki always a step ahead of him but the chases were getting harder. "I will have to face him sooner or later, so tonight is the night," Misaki said, playing with the handle of his sword.
"Do you need me there?" she asked and Misaki shook his head before standing up again, cracking his neck and rolling his shoulders. "Oh come on, again?" She whined, not satisfied with the little break they just took.
"You suck at this, get up," the prince said and grabbed his sword, swinging it around him before stabbing it to the ground to put his hair up. Rima watched him and quickly grabbed her sword to get in position. Misaki stood straight after fixing his hair up and gestured for her to start attacking him. Looking in on the training session, both were deadly in different ways; Rima being more quick and unpredictable but Misaki had extremely quick reflexes that gave him leverage over her. He was swift with his movements, precise and he hit with so much strength that his sister struggled to keep her balance at times and yet no one dared to go after her now, because if she could handle her brother's attacks then others could very easily die at her hands.
A few hours later, the two made their way inside the palace, each to go do their own thing. "Are you going out today?" Rima asked, putting on her jacket and let her black hair down. Everyone could tell that they were not siblings from the same parents. The king and queen were both blond, blue and green eyes respectively and Rima was the odd man out. She was short, about 5'3'' and she had long luscious black hair, her eyes were purple and her complexion slightly darker than her brother. Misaki, on the other hand, was a 5'9'' man, blond hair till about his shoulders, sparkling blue eyes, and a fair complexion.
Rima was the exotic beauty, or so the guards called her, and Misaki was the fair one and yet neither were to be messed with. She started going on hunts with her brother and some guards and the tales of her bringing down very powerful demons were spread not just through court but in different tribes. Misaki, on the other hand, was what they called a dark horse, his track record beat many of the council's (the king and queen's right-hand hunters), yet they did not deal with demons he dealt with, and of course, none of them dared to go after hunters.
"I am, and yourself?" He asked, smiling down at her.
"Oh you already know, I am about to bust this trafficking cell and I can't wait to see their reactions when I waltz in," she said, laughing lightly and Misaki rolled his eyes. She had taken this responsibility of demon trafficking rings where they were sold as slaves to hunters and made it her mission to end as many as possible.
