Chapter Seven

It's been weeks since our 'first date.' Xander and I have gotten much closer and I'm starting to get to know his personalities.

From time to time, he would take me out or visit my place. There's been never a day that he didn't text or contact me. Sometimes, he sends flowers or even giving me a latte for the day.

He is still intimidating, as a CEO, I don't think he'll never be less intimidating but he is also sweet, thoughtful, and caring. Who knew I'd find a guy like him, again?

Our company stocks are going no way but up. The profits and shares are multiplying, thanks to the partnership. My father has stepped out of the company, leaving it in my hands. I promise to take care of it.

Tonight, I promised Christina to have a little girl night. It's when we go to my home and request a massage service treatment, it really helps with the stress and all.

In two weeks time, my parents' anniversary will be held. I've been doing a pretty good job of distracting my mother from it. She thinks that their anniversary will happen in Monteux, Switzerland, the one I auctioned for.

Then I remembered, I still have to buy my outfit for the masquerade ball. Most importantly, how I'll ask Xander to be my date for the event.

I finished my conference meetings and reviewing the month's reports. Like I said, our company has never been so successful, all thanks to Peterson Publishing.

After work, I went straight home to be with Christina. We have a lot of catching up to do. Ever since I started going out with Xander, she and I haven't talked much about her relationship with Cole.

"So, Ms. Busy Bellisima, how are things between you and Peterson?" Right now, I'm drinking wine and chatting with my lovely best friend.

I took a sip and told her everything about us. We've been really having a great time, we're both comfortable with each other and that way, it's easier for us to get to know each other more.

"You haven't slept with him yet!" She looked very surprised but I took it as a funny insult.

"We've been only going or for three weeks, texting, calling, and dating. What do you expect?" Unlike her, I'm more of a serious type of commitment woman. Obviously.

Christina's tipsiness is adding more for my entertainment. She ranted a lot of stuff about her boyfriend, Cole. Surprisingly, they've been lasting longer than I have expected.

"Let's watch a movie, shall we?" When she won in our little argument of what to watch, I laughed when the movie playing was Fifty Shades Freed. Yep, I've watched the two previous ones.

It's funny because Christina doesn't really have to watch this movie. Why? It's because she's into the lifestyle already. She've known about it since she was twenty-one and last year she found this BDSM club.

That's where she met her dominant, her lover boy, Cole. In their scenes, she plays the submissive role but whenever they go out on romantic dates, they look like lovely couples.

Even though Christina has been pushing me to visit the club, I didn't follow her advice. Yup, I have my own fantasies but I don't think to go to the club is part of it.

I respect the community though, Christina has explained it to me when we first talked about it. That's when she also forced me to watch Fifty Shades Of Grey, that whole night was really funny.
