Andy's POV

i woke up to the sound of light snoring. ah what i wouldn't give to wake up like this everyday, the girl of my dreams wrapped in my arms, but, i don't even know if she likes me that way...."mmmmmh" shay moaned as she turned over in her sleep. i brushed a piece of hair over her ear, wow she was beautiful, i really wish i could call her mine. all of a sudden her face contorted into something of pain and fear "no" she mumbled turning over "please" "stop" she kept mumbling "shay" i whispered shaking her "shay! wake up!" she gasped and bolted up right "shh shay it was just a dream" i said, putting my hand on her shoulder "shay its okay. your safe." i said. she turned to me and threw her self into my arms, crying "hey, hey. its ok shay." i said, stroking her head as she sobbed into my chest "shay, do you wanna tell me what happened?" i asked looking at her "m-my d-dad" she sobbed into my chest. i swear if i ever see that bastard i will not hesitate to kill him.

Those times in life we learn to try, with one intention

i looked down to see shay staring at me "you know," she said  "you really do have the most amazing voice." she smiled, staring at me "yours is better." i smirked at her. "pft" she laughed "come on andy, i sound like a dying animal" "your such a liar" i said laughing "hmmmm im hungry" shay said standing up "you guys got any food in here?" she asked "hah! i wish, cc ate all of it." i said, laughing at the fact that we've been living off food from the venue "hold on i gots this" she said walking off to the front of the bus. "where are you going?!" i whisper/yelled after since everyone was still sleeping. "youll see!" she yelled, waking up ashley in the process. "stop yelling! some of us are trying to sleep" Ashley said, annoyed that we had woken him up "no excuses" he said going back into his bunk "shes trying to get us food" i said "in that case tell her i love her and that she can never leave." ash joked "hah ill do that" i said but he was already asleep again. i heard shay talking to the driver, i dont know where she thinks shes gonna get with that, eve all tried to get him to stop for food before. shay came skipping back to where i was sitting "good news she said plopping down on the couch next to me "were stopping for food" she said smiling. "did she say were stopping?! for food!?" ash yelled jumping out of his bed and running over to us "yes but we only have 15 minutes to-" ash stopped her, picking her up and hugging her "I LOVE YOU SHAY!" he said kissing her cheek. he knows i like her, why does he keep doing this? i just have to fins the right moment, and then ill tell her. he just makes me so- "aandyy. your doing it again." ash said, both him and shay looking at me "oh, uh, sorry" i said "so, when are we stopping for food?" i asked looking at shay "uhm... lemme check" she said "AY! PEPE! CUANO VAMOS A PARAR PARA AGARRAR COMIDA PARA LOS GRINGOS?!" shay yelled at the driver.....i didnt know she spoke spanish.... " CINCO MINUTOS Y SHAY, TU ERES GRINGA TAMBIEN!" the driver yelled back "SI SI YA SE! QUIERO COMER TAMBIEN!" shay laughed... what was so funny? me and ash looked at each other with confusion and laughed "AH BIEN BIEN" the driver yelled back. shay looked back at us "... you um mind translating for us?" ash said laughing "oh yea sorry" she laughed "well be there in about 5 minutes" "okay.. what else did you say?" ash said "oh well i asked when we were stopping to get the white boys food and he said 5 minutes and shay your white to, and then i said yea, i wanna eat to." she laughed "yea its not really that funny" she said "you got any other hidden talents we don't know about?" Jake said climbing out of the bunk "um i uh don't know..." shay said thinking "nope, cant think of anything" she said "ya know, we don't really know much about you." said Jake, sitting down on the couch. "yea i barely know your name" said ash, sitting next to Jake. jinxx and cc got out of their bunks "whats going on" jinxx asked walking over to the couch "were gonna interrogate shay" ash said with a devious smile on his face."oh yay! questioning the newbie!"cc said sitting on the remaining space on the couch"we really need a bigger couch i said, sitting on the floor in front, facing the couch "I'm not a newbie." shay said "your new to black veil brides" jinxx said "whatever forever dude" shay said sitting next to me "okay. lets begin." said ash "oh joy." shay mumbled "whats your name" said Jake "shay." "no. your full name" Jake said. shay sighed "shaley Frances Marie gore." she said, looking about a million percent done "shaley." jinxx said "Marie." Jake said "Frances" Ashley said "gore." cc said barely containing his laughter "yea yea i know. my name sucks." she said , rolling her eyes "okay well." ash said laughing "family. ya got any?" shay tensed up. i know that was a touchy topic for her, i put my hand on her knee and looked at her, silently saying its ok. "well." she said looking at everyone "yes and no." "okay... go on." Jake said leaning forward. shay sighed and looked down. "i have a father.  but i don't really consider him that, after- after what he did." she said closing her eyes "w-what did he do?" ash asked, looking worried "well, where do i begin." she said looking up, but then looking back down after seeing the worried expressions on their faces.i grabbed her hand and squeezed it, making her look up at me "do you want me to tell them?" i whispered "no." she said looking up "i used to have a mother. a sister.  and a father who loved all of us. used to at lest" she said "until a few things went wrong, he became an alcoholic and started taking his anger out on us." she said grabbing at her arm. why was she doing that? did she.... "he would beat us everyday. i still have scars from when he would throw a bottle at me." she looked away "but one day, he was really mad.he got into an argument with my mom, who sent us upstairs and he stabbed her. multiple times. i can still hear her screaming for him to stop." she looked back at everyone on the couch, looks of horror mixed with sadness on their faces"he came upstairs. my sister sent me away. she said to run. run and never look back. she told me to do something with my life, start a band like i always wanted to." shay looked down, tears running down her face. she never told me some of this. "i climbed out the window before my dad got into the room." i only stayed there long enough to hear my sister scream, and then i ran." she said looking over at me, i hugged her and wiped away her tears. everyone staring at her slack-jawed not daring say anything. the silence was broken by the driver "AY SENORITA! WERE HERE!" he yelled "GRACias pePE" her voice cracked when she yelled "i-ill be back with food" she said as she got up "do you want me to come with you?" i asked, she nodded and kept walking.i got up and followed her to the door. "I'm so sorry senorita, lo siento" the driver said and hugged shay handing her money for the food. "thanks pepe" she said with a half hearted smile before walking off the bus, me behind her.
