MARK POV:

We were in famous cake shop in Texas and it was also the vintage one where granny & grandpa ordered their wedding cake sixty five years ago.

We tried many flavours from White chocolate with raspberries, Pink champagne, Coconut with lime and so on.

Finally Sniety chosen two flavours Red velvet with red cherries and Pink champagne.

When i was tasting Pink champagne my mobile ringed. I excuse myself from the table and went to doorway.

It was international call from India, officials of DBT. They informed about upcoming International Bio technologist conference.

I also heard, our New hybrid variety of hamster selected as The Best discussion topic of the year. I was overwhelmed by joy and the date they mentioned turn my mood off.

It was next day of our wedding night.

***The Wedding Night***

I was wearing Black tuxedo which was gifted by my father. More than me, he was excited to get me married to Sniety.

My face look red in mirror, I was trying to pacify myself from the excitement of getting married to the girl I have waited for.

When i was adjusting my neck tie, my father came with a box in his hands.

He adjusted my collar and placed chain from the box. He hugged me closely and said I am happy for you son.

You have made a great decision of getting married to Sniety. She was a beautiful girl from her heart and soul.

I always worried, you distant yourself from people, after kat death. Now I am happy for you two. I trust that she will give you all the love which you longed for...

And remember she was officially going to be my daughter from tonight. So don't ever dare to think of hurting her.

Dad!! I am your son not your Son-in-law. Stop threatening me!!

Just kidding son, he replied teasingly.

I was waiting in altar for more than ten minutes. My eyes stick towards the wooden door of church.

When the music starts, my heart beat faster and my restlessness came to peace, once I see the most gorgeous girl in white frock.

SNIETY POV:

I couldn't sleep well last night for being officially engaged and soon going to be Mrs. Kenton.
We have short time but had a long purchasing list.

My head spin like tossed coin and on other side my family members were busy in preparation.

But having Mark on my side all my temper reduced with warm hug. We planned to get married in one of ancient church of Texas.

And we want our wedding to be simple and private so we can enjoy the time with our closed ones.

I enjoyed purchasing with Mark because we spend more time in chatting about our common interests, family, friends. Rather than shopping we were hugging, kissing, flirting with each other.

Finally, I have decided our wedding cake but it was little confusing to choose between two flavours.

When Mark was about to taste, he excused him to attend a phone call. It was more than twenty minutes, I was looking for him.

He showed up finally, but i could feel change in his mood. After we left the cake shop, he was still silent throughout the way.

He was busy in texting while we entered the nearby restaurant for launch.
