I stayed at the cliff, that one place that I knew that would calm myself. I was on edge and I literally wanted some peace and quiet. I didn't mean to go off like that, I just didn't take opinions about myself too cool. Sighing, I slid off my hoody before laying it down behind me so I could lay and rest.

I looked up at the starry sky, it was already night time before I even got here. I didn't care if I got lost or something, people won't even notice or care. Yeah, they'd make me a funeral, but soon enough they would forget how I died or who I was.

I sighed as I closed my eyes, I was tired.

Tired of this bullshit called life, tired of running away. I may look okay, but inside I am not. I began drifting off to sleep, my phone was out because the battery ran out. So no one to disturb me now... no..one...

"VANESSA!!" I jolted upwards, I gasped for air. I looked around and saw that I was still at the cliff and I didn't move at all. Who was that?

"VANESSA, I'M SORRY. PLEASE COME BACK." that yell, it belonged to no one but Brian. I wanted to yell back and tell him I was here and okay, but I was too anxious to even try.

"VANESSA, PLEASE... COME O-ON..." I heard a sob, was he near? More importantly, was he crying? For me? A nobody?

'Your lucky you aren't keeping anything, lucky your not convincing yourself that you are happy.' I got up with my hoody, I've decided to show myself.

I moved away the bushes, grunting as I did. I followed the cries, I followed the yells until I finally saw his white hair. I pushed aside a couple more bushes before I ran to him and gave him a squeeze. "I'M SO SORRY." I yelled out, burying my face unto his t-shirt.

I expected a punch or a slap from him, but he hugged me. A tight one to be exact. "Holy shit, I'm so glad your back." He was once again crying, his hug tightening.

I wondered out if no where, why doesn't he hate me? I yelled at him, I even ran away from him. Why?

"Now," He let me go and wiped his tears away. "Let's go home, auntie might get worried." He held my right hand before pulling me softly. I kept looking at him, wondering why he wasn't angry...

Arriving at the house, Mom and dad were out. So we both decided to watch a movie before they got home. I changed into a more suitable attire before the movie, and the popcorn being cooked.

"So 'IT' is the one you want?" Brian had asked for the second time now, and all I could do was nod. And he pushed the button to play it.

The movie was about a clown who haunted down kids to satisfy himself. In the beginning, he had killed Goergie and by that it made Billy(the brother of Goergie, and the main character) go look for him with his friends, but sadly they didn't find him at all. But they did find a few solutions to their questions as to who the taker was or what he was doing with them...

As the movie went on, I was eating popcorn and Brian was neatly asleep beside me on the couch I wondered out again. 'If I die, will anyone care?'

I shook that thought off and just continued to watch the movie, at around 10 in the evening Mom and Dad came home. They said they were out talking to someone about the old house we had, I didn't mind.

"Mom? Dad?" They both looked at me from the stairs, I grinned. "Good night. Sleep tight." I said, they smiled at me. "Good night too dearie, sleep well later on okay?" They then walked up the stairs, their footsteps slowly lost their clapping sound when they got up.

I grabbed the remote and turned the tv off, I got up and walked to the stairs. I heard their door slam and I just rushed to the toilets.

I looked at the mirror, my long white hair looked dull to me. I saw a pair of scissors, I wanted to cut my hair. I grabbed the sharp scissor, stared at it before positioning it at how High I would like my hair to be... then I began to cut it.

When I was finished, I looked at myself in the mirror. I looked decent, my bangs covering my right grey eye.

My sleeveless white blouse and my ribbon up long black skirt complimented my hair so much now, I smiled

My sleeveless white blouse and my ribbon up long black skirt complimented my hair so much now, I smiled. Finally I got to do something I wanted.

I walked out of the toilets with my hair all inside a plastic bag. The bag was transparent, as it swayed back and fort in my hand. I hummed a tune before I finally got outside, the breeze caressing my skin. I breathed in before opening the trash can, I sighed heavily before I threw my cut up hair inside the can closing it shut.

"V-Vanessa? What are you doing?" I turned around to see my now awake cousin, Brian. "Just throwing out some trash from my room, no need to worry." I gave him a fake smile, and he just rubbed his nape and eyes.

"If you..." he yawns "say so." He once again entered the house and I dropped my silly act. I looked around before grunting, I didn't want to be here. I knew who those Delinquents are.

I walked to the door, closing it as I got in. I saw Brian fast asleep on the couch again so I decided to sleep in my room. I ran up the stairs softly, I couldn't believe he didn't notice my hair.

What a dumbass... I thought, mentally laughing at Brian.

Morning came, I got up and went in the bathroom for a shower. The water was warm and relaxing and I just wanted to stay in there for a little while but I was going to miss the trip my father had planned for all of us.

I got out 20 minutes later, brushing my hair as I looked for a suitable outfit. We were going to the beach, so I wore my one piece swim suit, a laced shirt above it and some shorts.

I grabbed my flip flops and some sunscreen, my shades and then lastly my phone fully charged. I placed them on inside my bag full of snacks and clothes. I was ready.

I placed on my shades, walking down the stairs and hearing the sizzling of the frying pan cooking something delicious..

Mhm... bacon...

I saw Brian sitting alone by the dining table his back facing me, mom cooking our food and dad reading the newspaper. They were all ready to go.

I pet my cousin on the head before sitting down and grabbing a piece of cooked bacon on the plate in front of him. "Wha- hey!" He looked at me, strangely he was.. speechless. Well that was what I thought.

"WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK? Why the fuck would you fucking cut your goddamn hair?!" He literally yelled in my face.

"Brian dear, language, and it kind of suits her. Don't worry about it too much." Mom said as she placed a plate of bacon and eggs in front of me. I grinned at her. "Your auntie is right Brian, she looks nice. Her hair was getting around too much." My father joked, ruffling my hair as he smiled.

"Tch." Was Brians only response.

I looked at him, at them... yet I don't seem to ever...
