(Before i start, Aaron is only one year older than Aphmau, Gene & All her friends are in the same grade except Laurance, aphmau wasn't a perfect angel.)
Aphmau -
"Aphmau, do you still have that ring i gave you..?"
I looked up into aarons soft eyes, of course i still have it.
"Obviously!"
He smiled.
"Can i see it for a second?"
I hesitated for a minute, then took it off my small finger, i placed my hand in his & the ring fell into his. His hand open & the glimmer from the ring reflected off his eyes. He started tearing up.
"I-i cant believe you still have this..."
"I wouldn't loose it for the world! You gave it to me freshman year! Its only been a year but its precious..."
He hugged me, but it wasn't tight.
"Is everything ok-"
Then i heard him whisper.
"You mean nothing. You never ment nothing. Shu?"
I pulled him off.
"W-what?"
"Look, we have NOTHING in common, your immature and honeslty, just plain ignorant. This breaks my heart to see you hurt, but its over, i'm taking this ring so you don't remember me."
He slammed his locker & walked away. Tears started swelling up in my eyes.
"Aaron? W-what did i do..? I-i"
I sniffled all my tears up, i had makeup on because it was aarons & i's one year...
I heard the bell go & i had English.
"Great."
I wiped my tears away & walked to class.
As i was walked passed my science partner, Gene.
"H-hey Aphmau?"
"I don't wanna talk."
"Come on kitt-"
I turned around & grabbed his arm, at this point, i didnt care if tears drowned everyone in this school.
"I said i'm NOT talking today."
"I'm skipping school, you wanna join us?"
I thought about it. I let go if his arm.
"Only if sasha joins."
"Deal then"
I jumped, i turned around & she was right behind me.
"Jesus, Shash, don't do that!"
"Make me."
I grabbed her arm & ran out of the school towards the park. The boys followed.
I kept looking down. As we were running, we ran past the tree.
The tree where Aaron & I first kissed. Sometimes when we were there we'd talk about running running away, avoiding all our problems. I missed those times-
"Aphmau!"
Gene was right next to my face, I froze, he looks just like Aaron.
I ran my fingers through his hair. He was perfect.
"ooo, look at Gene & Aphmau!"
"Their SUCH lovebirds"
Gene flipped them off, for a minute, I let myself believe that they were Laurence & Garroth.
That gene was aaron.
I'm such an idiot.
I started to breakdown.
"Hey, Aph, everything okay?"
The shadow knights are my best friends, and I loved them as my own siblings. They weren't as bad as everyone believes they are.
"Aaron broke up with me, today must've been the-"
"Worst since it's your one year..."
All three of them said, synchronised.
They all looked at eachother, then back at me. Gene couldn't look me in the eyes, it was odd.
"Well, Aph, we aren't coming to school tomorrow, stay at ours? We can watch your favorite! Midnight..."
Zenix winked.
I laughed.
"You guys are amazing, thanks. Sasha? Gene?"
"Duh."
Gene stayed quiet.
"Gene..?"
He was completely spaced out.
"GENE."
"Hu- o-oh Yeah, c-count me in i-I guess."
It got quiet for a while.
Then I get a text.
"From Aaron -
Hey, look, I didn't mean what I said before, but I did break up with you for a reason, and I think it's better if I see you in person."
As I read that I almost screamed.
"What is it kitty."
"It's Aaron."
"Thought so"
"Aphmau -
Aaron? Just tell me over text; I can't face you nor do I even want to."
"From Aaron -
Gene is in love with you, has been since freshman. I love you Aphmau, but you deserve to be with someone who trusts you, would give their life to & just lives you more than I could ever. I'm blocking this number so that you can move on.

I closed my phone & looked at gene.
He was closer with the river with Zenix, i was next to sasha, she had a vanilla latte.
"What did he say?"
"Gene. Loves me?"
"I thought you knew?"
"N-no..."
"He talks an awful lot about you, kitty."
I rolled my eyes.
"He talked to Aaron, Aaron and him are step brother you know?"
I stood up.
"W-w-wai-Wait. WHAT??"
"Yeah. So of course Aaron considers everything his little brother says.
T-that makes a lot of sense.
"So tomorrow, you want to talk to him?"
"Y-yeah, but instead of midnight, let's watch a horror."
"oooo! I knew you were Sasha's kind of gal."
I hit her shoulder.
"Sometimes I hate all of you.
"We hate you too"
Zenix turned around. I flipped him off.
