Chapter 38 - Cordelia

I woke up and looked around. My head is fuzzy but I see I'm in Adrian's room and Max is curled up next to me. How did I get here? Oh, there it is, all the memories come back.

I get up off the bed, taking a minute to catch my balance and look up at my IV, it's only fluids. I remove the IV and walk into the bathroom. There it is, my new scar from Nathan, I'll remember it every time I look in the mirror. I punch the mirror and it shatters, my knuckles were already broken but they start bleeding again. I take Adrian's t-shirt off and step into the shower. As soon as the water hits my body I feel all my wounds burn at once, but the pain is good, I deserve it. I wash my body and get all the dried blood off and wash the blood out of my hair. I step out and put on a pair of shorts and a tank top and pull my hair up into a messy bun.

The only way I'm going to hide my wounds is if I cover every inch of my body so fuck it. I take my tank top off and put on a crop top that stops just below my breasts. Everyone may as well see the monster I am. I grab my cigarettes, my headphones and Max and head down to the bar. I grab a bottle of Jack and head outside.

I see BFG and knuckles sat outside the door and their eyes grow wide when they see me, yep I know take a good look at the freak. I put my headphones on and blast some Shinedown into my ears, light a cigarette and head for the long grass at the back of the compound. Max runs around through the grass exploring and I pick a spot and sit down. I finish my cigarette and open the bottle of Jack.

The Sun feels good on my skin, I keep drinking and smoking, Max comes up to me every few minutes to check I'm ok before running off into the grass again. I take a big drink and lie back on the grass letting the sun warm my broken and bruised skin. Suddenly a shadow blocks out the son, knowing my luck it's Dragon, well he can just get it over with and kill me, save me a job. I open my eyes and take off my headphones just as Adrian sits down next to me on the grass

"I'm sorry I wasn't there when you woke up, I went to your house to get some more of your stuff" Adrian says as he goes to touch my thigh but thinks better of it, yeah I wouldn't touch me either.

"It's fine, you didn't need to bother with my stuff, just means extra stuff to move when I go home later" he turns to look at me, but I just can't bring myself to look in those dark eyes of his, he touches my chin with his thumb and forefinger, who knew such a big strong man could touch so gently, he turns my face to look into his eyes

"Beautiful, you're not leaving, never mind the fact that it's not safe for you, but now I've had you in my bed I'm never letting you go, I want to sleep next to you every night for the rest of my life"

"You can't, I'm a monster, I killed Nathan, I'm a nurse, I heal, I don't kill and look at me, as if I wasn't already ugly and disfigured, this thing on my cheek will scar and I have Nathan's teeth on my neck. Just let me leave, you don't want me" I say turning away from him.

"Cordelia, you've lost your mind. I love you, all of you, every bruise, every scar, I love it all" he replies wrapping his arm around my waist.

"Let me show you just how much I love you and how sexy I think this body is" with that he stands up and picks me up, wrapping my legs around his waist, I wrap my arms around his shoulders and bury my face in his neck. He carries me through the compound, into the clubhouse and up to his room, Max following us the whole way.

He lays me down on the bed and takes his t-shirt off before lying on top of me, his lips crashing into mine, he licks the cut on my lip and then his tongue invades my mouth he traces kisses along the cut on my cheek and kisses my busted eyebrow, then his moves his lip down and kisses the wounds on my neck. His lips and tongue set my body on fire as he kisses every cut, bruise and scar on my body, gently removing my clothes as he goes. He takes off his jeans and boxers, I hear a wrapper rip and then he's back on top of me

"I love you Beautiful" he whispers in my ear as he enters me slowly, I feel myself stretch as he fills me completely. Now he's stopped being gentle and his thrusts become harder and rougher, I can't hold in the moans as they escape my lips, my hands grabbing at the sheets as I feel the pleasure build, his lips crash into mine hungrily as he thrusts harder and faster. I feel the waves of pleasure through my body as my climax releases and I moan into his mouth, he groans as his own climax hits and he falls into my embrace.
