Fuck. What am I doing!? How long have I wanted to shake things up and lose my V card for? Why did I run away? I don't know what it was but when I felt his hand on my stomach it just freaked me out and I had to run, I haven't been touched there by a guy ever. I never let it go that far. I've never gone further than kissing.
I sat on the floor against the bathroom door with my chin on my knees. He must think I'm fucking crazy. I feel tears rolling down my cheeks and then jump at the gentle knock on the bathroom door,
"Cordelia, you ok in there? Was it something I said" he says gently.
"No, it's not you it's me, I'm...." I can't figure out how to finish that sentence.
"Open the door Cordelia, we can talk, it's ok" after I cleared my tears I turned, still sat on the floor and opened the door. He looks in through the crack in the door then shoots his head down to see me sat on the floor, he kneels down and his eyes meet mine. He makes me feel safe, even though I barely know him, but I still can't do it.
"I'm sorry Adrian you must think I'm insane" I say trying to laugh it off. He didn't buy it. He went to put his hand on my thigh, then obviously thought better of it
"What's going on Cordelia, what did I do to make you suddenly run?" His voice soft, as is he's talking to a frightened child. I reached out and touched his thigh, touching the bare skin of his leg sent a spark up my arm, his legs were so muscular they made my hand look tiny in comparison.
"You didn't do anything, I liked it, it's complicated, I'm sorry for the mixed signals" I say looking up from my hand to his eyes. Suddenly he jumps up off the floor and picks me up carrying me bridal style spins round and puts me on the bed.
"Wait Adrian I don't know if I can do....." he cuts me off by gently placing his lips on mine then pulls away, wraps his arms around me and pulls me close to him.
"It's fine, we can do this on your terms, I'll only do what you're ready for" he says against my ear. Who is this guy? His appearance is terrifying and he told me his name was Killer, yet here he is holding me and he's fine that I haven't just opened my legs for him? I lean into him for a moment then pull away and get up.
"I need to take Max for a walk, you can come with if you like unless you're busy" I say as I rummage round for some clothes.
"Nah, I've got to get going anyway, got some work to deal with, but hey, I'll stop by later when I'm free, I think Max is beginning to like me" he says winking at me with a smile on his face. He looks so hot when he smiles. I need to get it over with and ditch the V card, he seems nice enough, he's definitely got the type of body I've fantasised about, I'm not waiting for love or marriage, I've always been a bit of a lone wolf, I prefer my own company, I never see myself getting married and having kids, I see myself and Max, exploring the world together me and my dog. Suddenly I realise I'm staring at Adrian and I haven't answered him yet, he laughs and looks at me
"Sorry, yes that's fine stop by anytime, Max will get better with you each time you visit, he has trust issues" I say with a smile before walking into my bathroom to change.
