Nayoung immediately asked for me to take her to her room so she could lock herself away.

She doesn't feel safe anymore.

I want to know the hell could they let that prick escape? It can't be that hard to keep prisoners contained.

Ravi keeps asking what he can do to help but I don't have an answer for him.

All I can think of right now is that I can't leave Nayoung. I don't feel that she will be safe if I leave her here alone.

"You want to help me right?" I ask Ravi and the star nods nervously.

"Give me some time off. I don't feel safe leaving her alone right now."

"Sure. Take as long as you need." He agrees easily, just as there is a knock on the front door.

I frown and head to open it. Jungwoo stands in the doorway and smiles sadly as he greets me.

"I'm here to secure this place as much as possible. Also I have another officer who is in his way. He'll be staying here to keep constant watch over this place."

I just nod and step aside as the officer enters the apartment and begins to secure the perimeter.

He doesn't seem to be fussed at all at the fact that Korea's most popular star is just seated on the couch.

"Listen Taekwoon, if you want, I can stay here. I completed five years of training so I'd be able to protect you guys. I had to be good at protecting myself before becoming a star." Ravi offers as I walk back into the lounge room.

"I appreciate it Ravi, but I think the last thing Nayoung needs is a random guy to be staying here." I take a deep breath as I try to calm myself.

He slowly walks over to me gently wraps his arms around me. He holds me just as he did a mere hour ago.

"Everything seems to be as secure as possible" Jungwoo states happily as he finishes he search.

He holds his hands behind his back as he stops to do some further explanations.

"The officer who'll be staying is officer Ken. He won't stay in your apartment but will come through for daily inspections. He will be staying in the empty apartment next door. We will give you an alarm which if you flick the switch he will come over straight away. If you are in danger he will come over."

I nod slowly as I gently push Ravi away.

"Don't stress too much Taekwoon. We will find and catch Sam before he has the chance to bring anymore harm to your sister."

Jungwoo bids goodbye and leaves the apartment once more.

I look at Ravi to see he is still watching me with concern in his eyes. I ignore him and go to check on Nayoung.

I know the door is still locked so I just knock on it softly.

"Are you okay?" I call out.

"Leave me alone Taekwoon. I'm fine." She sobs and my heart crumples.

I head back to the lounge room and just run my hands through my hair as the wait for officer Ken begins.

Ravi sits next to me, not knowing what else to do.

Just as I go to suggest that he should leave, there is a knock on the door.

I answer it to see a tall man dressed casually. His hair a dark colour and he has a line shaved into his eyebrow.

"Hi, my name is Lee Jaehwan but you can just call me Ken. I am the officer who will be looking after you are your sister" He grins as he greets me.

He doesn't look like a police officer at all. Not to mention he isn't acting like one.

But I see the gun in the waistband of his pants, accompanied by his police badge.

I step aside and let him enter the apartment.

Ravi gives the officer a disapproving look as soon as he sees him.

"This is the switch that Jungwoo explained to you before. You just flick it then I'll be right over." Ken hands me a small black controller with a red switch in the middle.

"Where is your sister?"

"She is locked in her room, you can meet her later but just leave her for now. She isn't doing well." I explain and he nods, still smiling.

"Well I'll take my leave. Flick the switch if anything comes up. I'll be back tonight to check the security once again. Enjoy the rest of your afternoon."

The officer bows before leaving.

I sit down and just focus on my breathing. So much has happened within such a short period of time.

"I don't trust him. Something about him is off" Ravi voices as he sits beside me.

"I think you should go Ravi. You've been here a while. No offence but this is a family matter." I frown slightly as I gently massage my temples.

"I'll go but promise me you'll contact me if something goes wrong. Before you contact Ken. I really don't trust him" He slowly stands.

"He is a police officer. I'm obviously going to contact him first. I'll talk to you late Ravi."

I would be stupid to call him first. What would he be able to do? His dorm is no where near here.

"Be safe" He says as a way of farewell and leaves.

A/N - is there something fishy about Ken or is Ravi overreacting from the short time which he met the officer?
