Part 5: Birthday.
BOOM
BOOM
BOOM"Get up, if you are late again today—your uncle is going to kill me." O.J screamed from Teddy room door. Teddy hopped up off of the floor and stared on the bed and seen it made and the window opened. Robyn had already left.
"Give me 15 minutes." Teddy told him back with a raspy voice. O.J walked back down the hall to his room and stripped down. He started changing as Olly walked into the room.
"Im leaving. Dont forget, Dinner at Grio. 7:30 reservation. It is Zoie birthday." He told his brother. O.J slid up his Tommy Hilfiger briefs and asked, "Not to sound mean, but he barely goes out to check the mail—and you think he is going to go to a dinner."
"He has no choice. I told him dinner or I am shipping his ass to therapy." Olly confessed. O.J smirked, "Still no sleepp."
"Dont talk about it!! See yall later." Olly stated as he walked off. He grabbed his lab coat and went outside. As he was unlocking his car door he heard a male voice state, "Excuse me?" He opened the car door and told him, "Whatever you are selling, I aint buying. I have to go."
"No. I aint selling anything. I have some questions. Have you seen this man?" He asked. Gerald went into his pocket and pulled out a recent photo of his partner, Otis. He showed the picture to Olyver. Olyver squinted and replied, "Uhh, No...sorry. I rarely am home and if im home im in the house. Is he a neighbor or something?"
"No. He was seen around here. thats all." Gerald replied.
"Ill ask my husband. Now I seriously have to go. Want me to take this photo?" Olyver asked as he reached out slowly. He grabbed it and hopped in the car.
Moments later, he rushed into the l lounge room. He poured himself a coffee and sat back. He had 45 minutes before this surgery and he needed to relax and unlike majority of the world—coffee relaxes him. The door opened and in walked Dr Quincy Gray.
"Hey, Papi. I was calling you yesterday. We was both off and wanted to go catch a movie." Olly told him smiling. Quincy went over and grabbed a three-day old dougnut from the tray.
"Busy. Maddy and I did some painting in the loft." He replied coldly. Olyver scooted over to make room for him, but Quincy ended up sitting at the far table, with his back turned. Olyver knew something was up.
"Are we okay?" Olly asked.
"You tell me—." Quincy shot back at him. He turned around and stared into his eyes. Olly was confused as Quincy continued, "Do you have anything to tell me?"
"Ohh is it about Zoie birthday dinner—ofcourse you are invited. I told Maddy and expected her to tell—." Quincy shot up from the chair and Olly quickly sat back quickly...shook as fuck.
"Why couldnt you tell me? You know everything about me...things girls I have fucked dont even know. Its typical Dog eat dog shit huh?" Quincy replied. Olyver rose up from the sofa and retorted, "You didnt have your morning colada or something, because you are seriously tripping."Quincy marched towards Olly and pointed at him.
"No, I just see you for who you are. Its only 2 spots open for us 4 third years. And we have been tight as fuck this entire time and kept things equal. Especially, us two. Then we have Sven to came along and snag one of those two jobs, because he has the backing of his damn family. and that leaves one for me, you, or Maddy." Quincy replied.
"I know this. We know this. Where is all this coming from? You didnt get a surgery or—."
"No...I found out you are a fucking snake and you fucked our boss to secure that spot. So Im basically fucked, along with Maddy. We have about 4-5 months left and I will like it if you stay clear of me. I had the thought to report yall to the board, but I aint like you. I dont use secrets and lies to advance myself. A hospital will hire me...." He tossed the doughnut in the trash and walked out. Olyver was in there at a lost for all words. He couldnt understand how Quincy could have found out. He needed to talk to Grimm.
