Baekhyun and Sehun have always been close friends, they've always found they can make each other laugh no matter how sad they might be. Of course, initially the older was worried about being close friends with a gay man, but being around Sehun showed him that sexuality didn't really matter. As the older of the pair, Baekhyun has been protective of Sehun since they debuted because of Sehuns initial nervousness on stage. This combined lead them to decide to be roomies in the new EXO dorm.

Baekhyuns POV:

It's 6 am. Baekhyun's alarm has just gone off from the first proper night's sleep he's have had in the new dorm since he moved in. 5 hours is a good sleep? He thought to himself.

As he groggily rolled over, Baek was surprised to see that Sehun was not in the bed next to him as he expected him to be. Of course, this was not too concerning to Baek, perhaps Sehun wanted to go to the gym early or simply had got up to use the bathroom. 40 minutes later when Sehun had still not returned Baekhyun decided it was time to text him.

Baekhyun:

Sehun, where've you gone? I was hoping we could go to the gym together.

Sehun:

Hyung, I don't wanna talk right now. I'm fine though don't worry.

Baekhyun:

Don't Worry!? How am I not meant to worry, its 6 am and something is already wrong

Sehun:

[SEEN]

Sehuns POV:

Sehun hasn't slept all night, he got a drunken call from his ex-boyfriend, Luhan, at 2 am; saying that he missed Sehun's big chilli but an LDR wasn't working for them so they should break up.

That was it.

An hour later, Luhan updated his Instagram to a selfie of him and some older looking Chinese actor: with the caption "New beginnings"

It was at this point Sehun couldn't stand just lying in bed silent and that he would go to the practice room for a private place to cry.
