It's been an incredibly emotional journey through this Citrus fanfic novel, and I must say, it's been one that's helped me, BigPoppaAihara, unwind from my busy schedule and engage myself in the beauty of imagination while penning this story. I can't believe we're on the verge of wrapping up this 21-chapter series that I never thought would become this deep and engrossing. But before we delve into the concluding chapters of the plot, I just want to express my thoughts on this book.
First off, this work holds a very special place in my heart. Never in my wildest dreams did I foresee myself tearing up while writing these long-thought-out chapters, but I did. I've ridden the roller-coaster of emotions that these fictional characters have, so relatable are they to us readers in real life. And that desire to see Yuzu and Mei together once again personally makes my heart burn as I slowly work my way toward that happy ending.
However, speaking of a happy ending, my co-author @Darkhorse344 and I were talking some months ago about how we should bring this novel to a dramatically fitting finish. As the discussion went back and forth, we decided that our couple should come together for good by way of their encountering a nerve-wracking crisis that would compel them to turn to one another in love and hope for them to overcome, and that would not be done without a fair amount of violence in chapter 20. This twentieth chapter will be the final turning point in the story and set Yuzu and Mei on the right track in their relationship for life, and we hope that you are excited as we are to bring this story to a lovely end!
