"What is it now, Vi? Don't you have some thesis to work up on?" Jinx steps out of her class without even telling the professor.

"No, because of you and your crap ass leaving Piltover for five days, and now my class is waaay ahead of me. I can honestly wrestle you right now." Vi roughly ruffles her pink spiky hair.

"Give me a break, Vi. I've been nice enough for you to be at this stupid school--"
"Don't you dare get me started on that matter-"
"THEN SUSH IT PINKY HAIR and let's just go home." Jinx slams her palm against a locker and pulled out an old black backpack as she and Vi walked out of the city's University.

-------

"I still can't believe you left just to finish that suicide mission, Jinx." Vi shook her head and gulped down some beer and slumped onto the couch. Both of them are now at their own crib, they call it the DCN (Read as Di-kin) Palace. Now if any of you are curious, Jinx and Vi are cousins by blood. They've been through hell together and would most likely stay out of heaven because gods know they can and will never set their feet on that place wherever that is.

"What am I supposed to do?" Jinx slammed her mini gun at the table. "Vi, I can't let Zaun rot. For cryin out loud, that place already is rotting." She observed and loaded her mini gun. Afterwards, she grabbed her own beer from the fridge.

"No, Jinx! As usual, you act recklessly," Vi's voice transitioned lower and pressed her words slowly. "We're finally safe here in Piltover. You have to let what happened in Zaun go for a while and then we'll act."

Jinx drank all the beer down and smashed the bottle across the room.

"WHAT'S WITH YOU AND THROWING THINGS LATELY?" Vi stared in disbelief.

Even without asking, she knew things are getting heated in Zaun. Pretty soon all of their allies or friends will turn their back on them--even Ziggs would, she bets.

The problem originally fumed when a stranger from who knows where visited the mad chemist of Zaun, Singed, in Noxus. The rumour that spread out like wildfire was that Singed gave out a draft duplicate of a chemical he was working on. In a different perspective, there shouldn't be a problem and it shouldn't be anyone's business if The Chemist himself gave someone a permission of his legacies. What made it worse was when the Noxians received a deadly warning from an unknown army and stated this horrifying plan wouldn't have happened if it weren't for Zaun itself. The truth was questioned and yet answered, as lies swarm all around, trying their hardest to be the answer.

Jinx was fully aware that she is no hero, and everything she's planning will just have the same scenario over and over again: tragedy and bombings. But there has to be a way outta this. The League of Legends was prohibited to continue because of an ongoing accusation and battles nobody has an idea when will stop, but Jinx knew it's better to act today than later, and that's what she's gotta do whether her cousin likes it or not.

Jinx went to her room just by the hall and breathed in the scent and aroma of her messy room. Guns and ammo scattered everywhere, pink and black painted her walls with a single black light at one corner. Her bare feet lazily sweeps the floor as she walked towards her fluffy yet bulky bed, grabs a gun that seemed to be in the works still. She carefully observes every corner and inch of it, admiring the gold paint she bravely stole from Iona.

A moment after observing the gun in awe, she pleasantly placed the gun on her desk. As careless as Jinx was in real life, a prize possession such as this must be taken care of; not like what Singed had done.

She tied up her hair loosely and went back to the living room and sat near Vi.
It looked like Vi has been staring at the floor for awhile now, and when Jinx thought she wouldn't speak anymore, Vi shifted a glanced at her.

"Look, Jinx, I'm pretty much aware that this is not your shit and most likely you would prefer to act right away, but fine, I'll be making calls and would check this out myself before I let you." She finishes her drink and watched Jinx's reaction closely.

"What the fuck--what do you mean you mean you'll check this out yourself?"

"I will check it out myself. That's exactly how it meant. I'll be finishing my goddamn thesis and will leave early in the morning." Vi rolled her eyes in disbelief and burped loudly.

She must be out of her mind. One second she's worried as hell for me, now she's leaving me here by myself, Jinx thought.

"Welp, sure, you're the boss anyway," Jinx stretches and tries to hide her excitement. Days or a month without supervision? Yes please.

"I sure am," Vi snickered and stood up, ready to head to her bedroom, "But don't get any ideas, town-wrecker, because I'm not that stupid yet to leave you alone without anyone watching you."

With that tone, Jinx laughs nervously. She must be kidding, right?

"Why would I need a babysitter, Vi? I mean, I don't want anyone taking away your position."

"Oh, believe me, Jinx. I got someone better: a sherif," she winks and slammed the door shut.
