Chapter Eight

Caroline' P.O.V.

Once we got to the hospital I noticed everyone was there already gathering around a hospital bed, nurses took Pan to one of the rooms and started treating his wounds, then Emma came up to me. "Hey, what are you doing here? And what happened to Pan?" She asked, "we went for a walk in the woods and a flying creature attacked us, it looked like monkey." I replied. "A monkey?" "Yes, it was a monkey." I repeated. "Well, I'll talk to Regina about it and make sure you keep an eye out for them again." She informed me walking away. "Wait!" I shouted, she turned around and faced me. "Yeah?" "Who's in the hospital bed everyone was at?" I asked, "Neal. We found him." She said smirking. I smiled brightly and headed to see him. When I got there he was sleeping soundly, so I decided to just leave and come back later. When I returned to Pan he was all bandaged up and we were ready to go.

When we left we headed down to Granny's only to see Erin sitting alone at one of the booths, Pan's grip on my hand tightened. "Peter, it's okay. He's nice he isn't evil." I said, "He won't hurt me but he will hurt you. He was the one who shot you with the arrow." Pan said. "Yeah, but people can change. Just like you did all they need is someone to talk to. Please, just trust me." I said placing my hand on his shoulder, "Fine. But if he even dares lay a finger on you I will not have any mercy for him." Pan said with a serious face, "I'll be fine." I said gently kissing him. We sat at the booth and Pan sat beside me and Erin in front of us. "Oh, h-hey Pan, nice to see you have returned." Erin said shocked. "Felix told me." Pan said and Erin went pale, "Oh, look I'm so sorry I was just being nice and-" He said but Pan cut him off. "It's fine I know you were just trying to be nice to her and... Comfort her." The last part he said as if he was furious and ready to kill. "So, I see you guys will be expecting, is it a boy or a girl?" He asked, "We don't know we want it to a surprise." I said rubbing my stomach.

After a while of all of us talking and eating Pan and I decided to just walk around town now and I was getting really sleepy, "if you want I can carry you." He said "It's fine, I'll be okay. But thank you." I said giggling. "Where will you be staying tonight?" I asked, "at Granny's, she's letting me stay until I get the money for our own apartment." He said stopping us in our tracks. "Our?" I said smiling, "yup." He said, I hugged him tight and I decided to stay the night with him at Granny's.

The next morning I woke up and he was gone, I saw a small note on the bedside table and he said he went to go get breakfast and be back soon, then I heard the door open to reveal Pan. "Morning." He said coming over and pecking my lips. He then handed me a box filled with pancakes, "Awe, thanks." I said kissing him. We then sat at the table in the room and ate. After dinner I got ready and we headed to the stores to buy furniture. It was weird it was like Pan wasn't Pan anymore, "hey, are you feeling okay? You seem a little off today." I said looking at him weirdly. "Yeah, I'm totally fine! I'm just a little nervous for the baby." He said, I just shrugged it off and we continued our shopping, Pan's grip on my wrist tightened and I winced in pain. "Oh, I'm sorry sweetheart did I hurt you?" He said looking at me evilly then he eyes glowed red. "You're not Pan, where's the real one?" I said trying to pull my hand out of their grip and run. "Not going to work sweetheart and he is somewhere, don't worry." They exclaimed, then they morphed into one of those flying creatures and flew me away, I just kept struggling until my jacket finally ripped and I fell into the forest, before I could even touch the ground a strong pair of arms caught me, I looked to see who it was and noticed it was Felix. "Felix! Thank God you caught me." I said, then my stomach started to hurt. I clutched my stomach in pain. "Caroline! Are you okay?" He asked, "Yeah, I'm fine, I guess that fall shocked the baby." I replied, standing up and brushing it off.

I then told him what happened and we ventured to find Pan, when we reached a nearby cottage we noticed it was abandoned and we walked in and when we did we heard screams. "HELP!" I heard, I then rushed over to the door and it lead to a basement. We then saw Pan chained up to a pipe, when he saw me his eyes lit up with joy. "Caroline! I'm so happy to see you!" He said I leaned in and kissed him. "Thank God your okay!" I said, Felix and I then tried to free him but it was no use. Then we heard a door slam, "Felix take Caroline and run, tell the other's Zelena, The Wicked Witch is here and is trying to destroy the evil queen and kidnap Snow's and our baby." He told him, my eyes went wide. "No, I'm not leaving you!" I screamed, "You have to don't worry I'll be fine." Pan said, Felix then held me while I struggled to stay and he carried me away from the house. When we got back to the forest I just collapsed in tears. We then heard footsteps run towards us and I felt a pair of arms wrap around me, "Caroline, are you okay?" It was Emma, Felix had told them what had happened and who was behind it all, David, Regina, Felix and Emma went back to inspect it while Mary Margret stayed there helping me calm down, "It's okay, he is going to be okay." She said, I looked at her with my glossy eyes "what if she tries to hurt him? And you heard him, she wants Pan and I's baby, she also wants yours." I said, "Well, she won't hurt him and she will not have any of our babies. You just have to have hope, we will do anything to protect these children and each other." She said hugging me again.

When they got back I noticed David helping someone walk, I looked passed to see Pan, but he was still all cut up. I rushed over to him but made sure not to hurt him, "you're okay" I said smiling, "yes I am and don't worry Zelena won't be coming near us anytime soon." He said smiling. I just smiled and we helped him back to the car and he fell asleep on my shoulder, when we got to the hospital we tended to his wounds again, but this time I got the worst news possible, Regina came up to me with sad eyes, "What's wrong? What happened to Peter?" I ask concerned. "Don't worry, he's fine and it's not what happened to him, it's what needs to happen to you and the safety of your child." She said, I held my stomach in concern, "what?" I asked, "Look, Caroline, we all love and care about you but we can't put your life in danger, we are doing this for you and your child, Pan also agreed to it, I'm sorry but you have to leave StoryBrooke."
