How did we get here again?

Chaper 1

"Bruh!" I yelled out as Claire splashed me again with water from the lake we were swimming in. My family and I stayed at my Aunt Karen's cabin for her birthday, My brother and I were allowed to bring two friends along for the trip. I ended up bringing three friends, due to one of our cousins not being able to make it.

"Claire, what are you doing?" Rachel yelled from her round pool floaty she was in, obviously trying to avoid making too much contact with the water. Meanwhile, Sophia was sprawled out on the dock trying to tan.

"Nothing!" Claire yelled back to Rachel as she continued to splash me.

"Nothing, my ass! You're gonna kill me!" I yelled, trying to cover my eyes.

"Really? Kill you? This water may be gross but it's not that bad!" Claire retorted, rolling her eyes as she dives under water.

"Whatever," I sighed. "This water is making me feel gross, I'm gonna go wash off." I gave Claire a peace sign, and I walked in the direction of the cabin and stepped into my flip flops in the process.

"Hello?" I loudly called out to nobody in particular. My eyes landed on a note on the kitchen table. I lifted it up and read it aloud.

"I'm going with Karen to pick up your godmother Julie. Dad took your brother and his friends fishing so you girls have the house to yourself while everyone is out. Don't get in trouble!

Love, mom ♡"

"Oh, okay," I mumbled, and I set down the note. I headed towards the bathroom, and I kicked off my flip flops and set them beside the bathtub.

Earlier, I found some cool bath bombs under the sink, so why not take a quick bath? I chose to stay in my swimsuit, though, because Claire tends to barge in while I'm in the bathroom.

I turned on the water. I put my hand underneath the water, and I felt it so it's the perfect mix of hot and cold.

"Perfect!" I laughed, and I waved around my left hand to get rid of the water. I reached out my other hand to grab one of the bath bombs. I fished around until I found one that smelled like blueberries. I unwrapped it from it's plastic case, and turned around again, to drop it in the nearly overflowing water. I dropped the bath bomb in and I watched it dissolve slowly. The water started to turn a strange black color, almost like a tiny galaxy.

"What the hell?" I muttered, raising a brow. "I grabbed blueberry scented, not demon spawn." The water started making a weird buzzing noise that I couldn't make sense of.

"Not today, Satan!" I yelled, and I reached my arm into the tub to pull the plug out. Instead, I started getting pulled into the water. My eyes widened and I tried to pull back. What the fuck, what the fuck, I thought to myself. What the actual f-u-c-k! I let out a ear piercing scream before going under.

:::Outside:::

"What the-?" Sophia raised her head from her towel, and recognized Becca's screams from afar.

"Becca, you good?" Rachel called out from her floaty. When she didn't hear a response, she began swimming over to the dock. Claire, on the other hand, was already up the steps and running into the cabin to see what had happened.

"Becca!" Claire screamed, and she glanced around the kitchen. She spotted the note on the table and quickly read it, then threw it in the trashcan next to the counter.

"Claire," Rachel panted, and slowly entered the cabin. "Please wait for us next time."

She looked behind her to see Sophia jogging over.

"Claire?" Rachel called out again, slowly walking into the bathroom. Rachel carefully opened the door, only to see an empty bathroom.

"Claire?" Rachel murmured again. She began to get nervous, and she glanced behind her briefly. She watched as Sophia entered the vacant bathroom after her.

"What the..." Sophia whispered, her tone was full of disgust. She pointed to the tub full of some mysterious black liquid, and reluctantly took a step toward it, looking down at what she assumed were Claire's wet footprints.

"Where did they go?" Sophia looked at Rachel's face, painted with confusion and worry.

"I dont know, man." Rachel replied, and reached out her hand to the tub water, and she put her hand in. The water immediately began pulling her in.

"What that hell-" Rachel looked down at her arm, and she was desperately trying to pull it up from the water. She started to panic.

"Rachel!" Sophia yelled fearfully. She frantically reached out her hand to grab Rachel's leg, and attempted to pull her out of the tub. She hurriedly dipped her other hand in to pull the bathtub's plug out, but it was too late. Once she pulled the plug, they had already been pulled into the mysterious water.

I hope you like the first chapter! Its a little short but should give an idea of what the story will be like!
