"Alright! We're close enough, just turn the corner and you should be there. Good luck!" I heard Ayaka talk to Sophia and me, patting the back of our heads roughly with her long nails before running the opposite direction we were headed. I stood still on the sidewalk for a moment, completely frozen next to Sophia, still trying to process what we are about to do.

"We are literally about to take the UA Hero Exam. Oh my god." I breathlessly laugh, clenching the tank top I was wearing tightly. "I'm gonna actually see the anime characters I've literally cried over for not being real. Oh my god. Oh. My. God. I'm not ready." I muttered to myself, digging my long nails into the palms of my hands. I glanced over at Sophia who looked just as scared and nervous as I was. Everything just hit us both. Hard. We are in our favorite anime, one of us has a quirk, and we are about to try to get into a fucking hero academy. Wow. Once we turn this corner we're gonna see the characters we've grown to love and fawn over. Scary. I heard Sophia let out a loud, shuddered breath and mumble something before walking forward hurriedly, grabbing my wrist roughly, and pulling me around the corner. I could feel Sophia's clammy hand slip on my wrist slightly, showing that she was just as nervous as I was. Clenching my teeth and closing my eyes tightly I let Sophia drag me around the corner leading us to our destination. Hearing the sudden stop of Sophia's feet hitting the sidewalk I open my eyes slowly.

"Holy shit- I'm so ready!" Sophia's nervousness suddenly was suddenly throw out the window as she suddenly broke into a sprint towards the building, her hair suddenly flaring up again, from what I'm assuming was because of a mix of excitement and fear being fumbled together. (That sounded cringy, don't @me) I quickly followed behind her in an equally fast phase.

"Sophia, your hair! Wa-" My sentence was cut short as I ran into someone in front of me, causing me to abruptly fall down, bringing said person with me. "Shit, gah, sorry! I was just trying to chase my..." My words trailed off as I opened my eyes to see the person I was on top of. Denki Kaminari. I was laying on top of Denki Kaminari. Of course, it's someone from the anime. Who else would it be? A random side character? Well, you can't get more cliche than this. I thought to myself for a moment before looking down at the blonde boy, blushing profusely, Denki of the other hand was smirking up at me, definitely preparing to say some stupid pickup line.

"Hey there, I see you're falling for me already?" Denki smirked, sitting up on his elbows and scooting out from under me, still keeping his smirk in the process. For a moment I just sat there, thinking about what to say back, but my mind was still trying to comprehend who I am talking to. Denki was actually hitting on me. Me! Then again he hits on anyone who is the opposite gender of him, I still felt special either way. In a desperate attempt to act natural, I swiftly got up, reaching my hand out and helping him up too.

"Sorry, hun! I was just, uh, running?!" I scratched the back of my head, blushing furiously completely embarrassed at the fact that 1. I was just on top of Denki Kaminari and 2. A bunch of people just watched 1 happen and 3. I called him 'Hun' out of habit. Denki opened his mouth again, probably to say another pickup line but before he could say anything else I continued on my run after Sophia, who was probably already inside somewhere. Walking past the many pillars to the entrance of the large, glass school I stop at the sound of another familiar voice.
