Chapter 9
"Halsten!" someone calls. I turn around to see Danielle. I stop in my tracks and let Danielle catch up to me. I've always liked Danielle, yet I don't know why. "Hey, Liam told me what happened" She wraps me in a hug. I hug her back. "Of course he did..." Why wouldn't Liam tell her? I feel kind of weird, I mean, we're outside on the sidewalk of a busy street. We probably looks like dumbasses. She lets me go. "I'll always be here for you" she informs me. "I know, thank you"
Danielle offers me to watch Toy Story with her and Liam, but I deny. I'm left alone on the street so I decide to sit down. I grab my phone out of my pocket and decide to text my best friend, Chloe, to come pick me up. She agrees so I just sit there playing on my phone. I should probably text Harry to tell him where I'm going, but oh well. I get extremely bored and start playing 100 floors. I get so totally lost in It that I didn't even realize Chloe is right infront of me. "GOD DAMN IT CHLOE!" I scream "NEXT TIME JUST GIVE ME A HEART ATTACK, WOULD YOU?" she just laughs. Chloe reminds me of Niall a little, but only cause they laugh at pretty much everything. usually, I do too, but lately I just haven't been. i hop into her car. "so, where we going?" she asks. "I don't know and don't care, just somewhere away from here." I reply she just shrugs and continues driving. "hey Halsten, remember where we went for vacation in seventh grade? shit... what was it called??!!" I try to think along with her. "wait!" I say "wasn't it something like laser tag?" she puts out her hand and I just stare at it, clueless. "High five???" she smirks. i high five her back, "rightttt" I say. while we're driving to god-knows-where, Harry calls me. I just ignore it. "who was that?" she asks. "oh, just... some blocked number..." I hesitate. she takes my phone again and right as she takes it, Harry calls. she answers it. "hello" "HALSTEN!" he sounds worried I slump down in .my seat and try to hide my face. "it's not Halsten, but if you wanna talk to her, she's right next to me" Chloe says. "um, who is this?" he sounds very concerned "Chloe..." "CHOLE!!!!!!!!!!!" he lightened up. they have there conversation as I doze off.
