Chapter 12
He sits me down on his bed and he sits next to me. "tell me what you were doing in the pool" he says. I explain to him the picture, and that I wasn't doing anything stupid, I just wanted to scream. I don't think he believes me, but it's the truth. "show me the picture". I take out my phone and show him. he stares at it. "this girl, she looks so familiar..." he stares at it for like 5 minutes. then it hits him. "Its Caroline...." he says, calmly. I look at Louis, teary eyed. he hugs me and I stay strong. no tears. no anything.
Louis offers to play my favorite game of all time, monopoly, to get my mid off of things. as soon as I'm happy, laughing and winning, the door opens. Louis looks up and I turn around to see who it is. It's Harry. I just turn around and take my turn. I'm guessing he waved to Louis, cause Louis waved. I sigh and whisper: "it's your turn." he takes his turn fast. I start laughing cause he's sent to jail. Harry slowly walks over and sits in-between me and Louis, since I'm on one side of the board and Louis's at the other end. "Can I play?" Harry purposes. I shrug and Louis lets him. After awhile of awkwardness, Louis says "my throats a bit dry, I shall be right back my dear." right now I hate Louis for leaving me here with Harry. so I stand up and say "me too" and start to walk away. "Halsten..." he says softly "please stay" I sigh, stand frozen for a bit of time and slowly walk backwards and sit down where I was. we had a bit of a Starring contest till I finally get the courage to speak up. "You wanted me to stay? for what reason" "the reason is" he grabs my hand and looks me straight in the eyes "the reason Is because I love you so very much and I never want to lose the best thing that's ever been mine. I really do love you, Halsten, please never leave me. I'm so sorry for that fight. honestly, I cried cause I thought I was going to Lose you. Ask Liam. Or Niall. just promise me, no matter how big or how long the fight is, we'll stay together. forever" he pulls out a promise ring and I'm so happy I could cry all over again. I cover my mouth. "Halsten Marie, promise me, someday you and I will get married?" I nod so fast I think my head may fall off. he slips it on my finger and I put one on his and we hug and kiss. "awwwww look at the too love birds" I didn't even notice Louis was standing there. all I can do is blush. im so happy, I'm speechless
