Chapter 2: What A Sight!

By the time me and Heather got to school, we gathered all of our friends.  You see, we have this little gang full of best friends.  There's me, Heather, Chase, Preston, Cloey, Jaycon, Theo, and my main girl Penaelope.  Once we got "The Gang" together again, we all found ourselves goofing around and talking about our humiliating moments together.

"Hey, remember when Heather fell off her roof!?" Preston laughed uncontrollably at the memory, in fact, everyone did... except Heather.

"Oh my god, yeah!  We said she couldn't do it...and when she did, she got so scared...that she slipped and fell off the roof...and into her back yard!" Jaycon said through bursts of extreme laughter.  We were laughing so hard that we were literally on the ground, crying because of how funny it was!  I swear, this morning couldn't get better, it was pure bliss I'm telling you.

Then Cloey had to say, "So, there's this 'Welcome' party at Ricky's place, and I wanted to know if you guys could come." Ricky is her boyfriend that she's been dating for a year now.  He's about 6'4 with broad shoulders and handsome features to go along with it.  They were truly a great couple,  by looks, and personality.  You'd think he was enough for her, but nope.  She's always has to push us into things like parties, and junk.  Don't get me wrong, Cloey is sweet and all, but she can be extremely pushy sometimes.  I mean really, she doesn't need to be, especially with the perky figure she has.  She's got long flowing blonde locks, crystal blue eyes, and possibly the most luscious lips I've seen.  She's got a body that will make any guy gawk and drewl over her.  I mean, she's the full package,  there's no denying it.  Yet for some reason, this beauty has the nerve to be the bossy, two-face bitch she can be when she wants to.  She may be my friend, but hey...can you blame me?  It still didn't matter at this point, because every one, including the "goody two-shoes" of the group, agreed.

After that, Cloey clapped her hands together and said, "So it's settled then.  The party starts at 8, this friday, so be ready before then and don't be late.  Okay, see ya later guys!  Kisses!" she gushed as she strolled away.

In first period, which for me, was creative writing.  I hate this with a passion of a thousand suns.  Is it wrong to hate a class that much?  Doesn't matter, any way, I felt completely stranded and alone.  Then I saw my best friend there.  The sad thing is, I didn't even notice until she sat next to me.  I swear, sometimes I think that I'm going blind! 

"Hey Nellie!" I said with an out burst of enthusiasm, and a face splitting grin plastered on my face.  I bet I looked so stupid, but I didn't care, and neither did she.  We both looked at each other with identical smiles.

"OMG!  Hey Catey!  Its been such a short summer, huh?" Peaelope answered surely, but sweetly.  This wonderful girl, known as Penaelope, but called Nellie, was my dearest and closest best friend.  We've practically known each other our whole lives, and we're still friends now in Junior Year!  It's hard to believe,  but it's completely true.  We're so open about things that we're like sisters at heart.  I truly love her like my own, and she's the same way.

"Hell yeah it has!  To top that, its been really boring without Nell." I explained.  She was still smiling that 100 watt smile of hers.  Penaelope was about 5'3, with the figure of an hour glass.  She's about my build, with wavy dark brown hair that stops at back, and grass green eyes.  She has a button nose, and light, if not pale, pink lips, that are curved into a smile.  Penaelope brings me out of my thoughts when she says,

"I know, its been hell without you, too.  But hey, we at least have one class together." That last part reminded me of where we were at the moment. Crap, I'm in class, and my least favorite to be exact.  Then I turned to a quiet Nell, and was brought back to the here and now.
