As the lights went out I felt a cold chill down my spine. Thoughts raced through my mind. Just then a light glowed in the distance. My boss ran towards the bar where Blue and I was. At least that's what I thought. As soon as I thought everything was fine Tara and our only source of light ran as if she was trying to escape something. "Everyone stay calm" I yelled to try and get every person in the Cafe to keep quiet. Every now and then the lightning strikes and for a brief second there was light. "We need to get out of here!" Blue yelled. She sounded scared.  Foot steps, foot steps upstairs in the atic. " Do you here that?" I questioned as thunder roared. Everybody answered with a quick "yes." We all got up and desided to look for light. I sware I looked everywhere, except... the atic. I slowly walked up the long stair case that led to the dark room. I felt like something or someone was calling me into that atic. The voices in my head were telling me to stay away but my heart told me other wise. As I slowly reached out to turn the nob and push open the door the lights flickered and turned back on. There was no reason to go in anymore so I left, looking back at the door. "Alison! Help!" I ran as fast as I could, but I was to late. Every single person was gone, except for Rebecca. She was in the corner rocking herself back and forth. The fright in her eyes scared me. My phone rang and I rushed to get it. It was Gavin, my best friend. "Are you okay?" He blurted into the phone. " I honestly don't lknow. Come and pick me up please." "Alright...." My phone died. I walked closer to Rebecca. She stared at me with caution. "What happened?' I ask. I was scared of what she was about to tell me, but more afraid of what caused it and if it will happen again. I was right to be scared because what she said was unbarable and unforgetable.

I was sitting on the corner table and before I knew it people were screaming and yelling " Help." I wanted to help them but instead I hid. I didn't see anyone do anything but I heard an unusual voice that sounded sad or depressed coming from the atic. It said that there is no one that could stop her. To my surprise after she said that the place was quiet and the lights came on but everyone was gone by that time. Where were you?

Tears came to our eyes as she told me her story. For once something good happened, Gavin pulled up to the front door. " Let's go. Hurry!" He shouted. I quickly pulled Rebecca's arm into the car and told him to drive as far away from that place as possible. I didn't care where he took us as long as it wasn't the Cafe. We drove off as fast as we could. I gave him a stare and he stared back at me with a worried look. Rebecca was sleeping already. I had a lot on my mind, but he reached out and held my hand, and everything seemed okay for a moment. I felt that our friend ship was more. He was my best friend I didn't want to mess it up so I did nothing about it. Soon we came up to an old abandoned building, my old home.
