Chapter 2

Percy's POV

~~~~~500 years ago~~~~~
The pain of Zeus's lightning bolt hitting me was intense, almost as bad as when I bathed in the river Styx two years ago.  But suddenly, the pain started to dim,  to the point where I wasn't screaming anymore and was moving.  I could feel myself moving through the air, at a very fast speed, and it felt like I was moving at the speed of light.  Suddenly, I stopped.  I opened my eyes and felt a complete difference in the air.  It was then it hit me.  I AM IN SPACE!!  What am I doing in space?  I'm supposed to be in the underworld, or worse, Tartarus.  I thought to myself.
After a few seconds of shooting through the air, I slowed down until I came to a complete stop.  As I looked around, I gasped in awe at the sight I saw.  It was like Olympus all over again, except that it was ten times better.  There were buildings around me, some were shops, other were houses.  They were all different types of buildings around me: Cottages, farms, apartments, skyscrapers, little houses, hotels, any type of building you could think of was here.  I was in a large field full of little flowers varying in colours.  The field is so big that I could not see the end of it from where I'm standing.
"So, I'm guessing you're Percy Jackson." I heard a voice said behind me.  I immediately turned around and came face to face with a girl.  She looked about 16 and was around 5'11.  She had tan skin, raven black hair that sparkled with mischief and excitement.  She was wearing a navy blue shirt and dark blue jeans, and black boots.
"Um...yes.  And you are?"  I asked politely.
" Sophia.  I've been asked to bring you here to the castle."  She stated, pointing to the tall and gigantic castle right in the middle of the city.  It was pitch black and is the tallest structure I've ever seen in my life, about 900 feet tall.  It reminded me of the medieval castle you'd hear and see in the movies.  Although it was pitch black, it twinkled and glittered as if thousands of tiny diamonds were in it.However, if you looked closer, you would see that the walls were actually are moving!
"Come on.  Let's get going." Sophia said before walking down the path.  I stood there at the magnificent view of the castle before tearing my eyes away to follow her.  As we walked through the town, I saw a lively city that is caring and having fun.  There were busy markets and noisy playgrounds filled with the children's shouts of joys.
People carrying newly made food walked along, the delicious smell of the food wafting into my face.  As we were walking, I looked up and my eyes widened as I saw the sky.  It was night time, so the sky was dark.  But that was not what fascinated me.  Way up in the sky, covering the sky like a blanket, was millions of stars, twinkling and glowing as if no pollution was hiding them.  Now that I thought about it, I didn't even see a single car or light here.  All the light are from the fire or some glowing substance.  Looking at the stars, I now understand why Zoe hated pollution so much.  How could you live through this and not love the sky here more than the polluted sky Earth has now?  As I was thinking about all these stuff, we reached the castle and came face to face with ginormous doors reaching up to 18ft tall.
After Sophia knocked the door, we waited a few moments before the door opened.We walked in and I felt that I was in a 1400's movie as I walked through the halls, seeing all suit of armour, stone walls and floors and paintings all around me.  When we passed by a few people, they bowed to Sophia, but looked at me in confusion, probably because they don't know why I am here.
After walking for a little while, we stopped in front of two large doors like entrance.  We walked in and I looked around.  The room was about the size of six and a half football field with tile floors, brick walls and 3 thrones across the from the doors.  At the moment, all three was empty and now that I looked around, there was no one else in the room other than Sophia and I, which confused me.  we stopped in the middle of the room and just as the door closed with a 'thud' behind us, there was a dark but somehow bright flash that forced me to close my eyes.  When I opened my eyes, a man was sitting down on the middle throne, the exact same man that had been in my dream two nights ago.
~~~~~Flashback~~~~~

As I fell asleep, I was pulled into a room that was pure white, no walls, no windows nor is there any doors or furniture.  As I stood there, a man suddenly appeared, making me jump. This makes me widened my eyes in surprise as I could not normally do this in my dream.

"Who are you?"  My eyes narrowed, looking warily at the man before me.

"I am Chaos, creator of the universe."  He introduced and I stared at him blankly.

"Who?" I asked.  The man's jaw dropped as he gapped at me.

" Gosh, you sure are dense."

"What?"

"Nevermind."

"Oka-...wait, what am I doing here again?" I asked, remembering.

"I am here to prepare you."  He vaguely stated,  "As you know, there are rumours circulating around you. I have come to warn you that those rumours will cost you something very dear.  I am unable to tell you anything else, but I will give you advice, or a warning. Whichever you prefer...Beware."

I then woke up.

~~~~~Flashback ended~~~~~
"Um...Are you Chas?  No...  Chos...No.....Ah yes!  Chaos! Yesss! I got it."  I pumped his fist into the air.
Chaos had the urge to facepalm.
Sophia said, "Percy? Are you sure you know him?  I mean he is Chaos but...."
"Yeah yeah.  I know he is Chaos."I answered sassily with my hand on my hip
Chaos raised his eyebrows.  Did he say it so casually? He thought.
Sophia's face turned confused.  "Percy, this is Chaos, the immortal that created the entire world."
" Yeah yeah, I know that he created the-".  I froze, gulped and continued in a very small and quiet voice, "entire world."
I then paled and said"Um...Hi?
