RAVEN SALVATORE─ LITTLE girl turned huntress turned vampire. And lost herself.
In the wake of her lover's death, and her turning Raven Salvatore went to a place beyong salvation, or so she thought. She became the thing she never wanted to become and lost something very precious in the process─ her magic, the spark that guided her through the darkest of times. Without that spark, she wasn't looking for saving, nor was she ready to be saved. She was looking for a way to fill the void inside herself, that Mystic Falls so painstakingly grew. And became a monster in the process.
Calling from one monster to another, it was Klaus who offered her a way out. Klaus, whom she'd saved and hated and hunted and tried to kill no matter the consequences more times than she could count. She had been willed to end herself and all vampires as well, if necessary. That was of course, before Kol came along. And reminded Raven what it was like to be truly loved.
Graduation and it's premise, where all the carefully locked away things in her mind broke free from their cages, took out all the wind from her sails. Raven was tired― tired of the endless circle of pointless death and pain and violence in Mystic Falls where she had nothing left to fight for. Nothing held her in this town, not after everything she went through.
So she accepted Klaus' offer and went with him to protect his unborn child. Went to a place where vampires ruled and voilence was just as present, to learn control, what it meant to be a vampire, how to live without the very essence of her witch-presence― and to heal, for Raven Salvatore longed to be whole again.

~welcome~ to the second book in the "RAVEN" series!! i've been waiting all this time for raven to finally go to new orleans, bc let's be real mystic falls was never truly supposed to be her destination. i really loved writing the first book and everything that happened there (i mean kolven was gOLDEN) but i really couldn't see a future where raven had the chance to heal from all the shit happening to her and process what she went through (especially what happened in act two!) in mystic falls. switching from tvd to the originals seemed a lot more reasonable to me and it also means that we'll see more of raven and the mikaelsons this time! i really hope you'll like this guys🤗
