SOMEHOW, THE DAYS in New Orleans seem longer. Mystic Falls, she had always thought, was the epitome of some sort of Beacon for supernatural bad luck━ the Originals, then Esther and then Silas. Not to mention everything that had happened before her return, before the car crash and then, long before her time. For centuries, Mystic Falls had been the center of some tragedy that tied the supernatural world to the place, going back a millennia to the day Esther Mikaelson created the first vampires. Raven had thought the days, the weeks were the longest in Mystic Falls. She thought once she got out of Mystic Falls, life would get lighter and the days would return to the concoction of the laws of nature and science.

Turns out, in New Orleans, they were longer. Somehow, between all the threads Klaus was weaving for his grand plan to regain control of the city, between spending countless nights lying awake and alone in the dark, the days in New Orleans were endless. Raven wonders if it's some kind of cosmic joke.

She makes a beeline for the coffee machine once she enters the room, Rebekah giving her a quick glance as she walks through the door. Quickly turning the machine on to brew a carafe for her, she then fills some water into the kettle for Hayley, who she hears rummaging in the bathroom closest to her bedroom, and whom she had told some days ago that she from now on was only allowed to drink coffee from the pack of instant caffeine free coffee sitting in one of the pantries. Then, she turns to Rebekah.

"Where's Klaus?" She asks her and raises an eyebrow. Some time ago, she had heard the hybrid leave the Mansion without a word.

"He's gone Sophie Deveraux so we can have a chat with her about what happened in the Bayou," Rebekah replies with a shrug and Raven nods, before turning back. Humming quietly, she pulls out to coffee mugs and places them on the island before she grabs the instant coffee from the pantry and puts two teaspoons into the mug for Hayley.

By the time she has put the instant coffee back into the pantry and tosses the soon next to the sink, she hears Klaus speed back into the room, pushing Sophie Deveraux on the couch across from the seat Rebekah has taken.

"We had a deal!" He snarls at her. "You protect my unborn child, I dismantle Marcel's arms. And whilst I've been busy fulfilling my part of the bargain, you allowed Hayley to be attacked and almost killed by a gaggle of lunatic witches!"

"I had nothing to do with that, I swear." Sophie shoots back. "Hayley and I are linked, remember? She dies, I die."

Rebekah frowns. "Then who are they?"

With a sigh, Sophie leans back in the couch. "They area faction of extremists. Sabine stupidly told them about some vision she had about the baby."
