Loving a pop-star!

Chapter 7

Turns out when i called Jo she was on air for her interview so when it broadcast that nigth she stopped her interview and answered her phone, they couldnt hear what i was saying but they heard her. They just laughed it off, as it was very Jo and they continued the interview,

im laughing about it now with her,

"why would you do that?" i asked as i took a sip of my coffee, she just shrugged "i spontanious!" she said proudly and i shook my head "your an idiot!" i said and she smiled "like i care!" she said making me laugh,

We talked some more but it was cut short as i haqd to get back home, leaving a fourteen year old girl home alone for more than an hour could lead you to some problems.

We walked home and it was agonizing, we both knew how we felt about each other we just never talked about it and too make maters just that bit worse, our hands kept brushing off each other and i got the sparks.

Pur hands brushed past and i mentally groaned but the sparks were still there. I looked down and Jo was holding my hand, i interwind our fingers and we smiled at each other "this is me!2 i said as we got to my house,

"look i know we never talked about the situation but maybe sometime we could?" she asked and i nodded "well if you like we could now and Olive would kill me if she didnt get to see you again!" i said making her laugh,

"anything for a fan!" she said, we walked in still holding hands. i heard voices from the livingroom. We wlaked in and Olive's friend wa sover, who's a boy.

"mum.. hey your home!" she said and i smiled "so it would seem!" granted they were sitting watching a movie, but he is a boy and there home alone!!!

I saw the boy looking at Jo in complete shock. Olive looked down at her hands and smirked "so how the coffee go?" she asked and Jo laughed "very well the lady put a dog in the mug and she mad eit out of the froth it was fun!" shhe said getting all excited,

"its amazing how easily entertained you are!" i said and she nodded "my mum thinks i have ADHD!" she said and i nodded "explains a lot!" i said and she nodded,

"so.. this was fin but me and Mark are going to the park!" Olive said standing "we are?" so he speaks now "yes we are Makr now lets go!" she said sternyla dn they both ran out opf the house.

Jo and I burst into laughter after they left "oh popcorn!" Jo said as she spotted the popcorn they were eating. I sat on the couch with her and we watched the movie they were watching, which was a funny movie about bee's

Olive came back just as Jo's phone rang, she answered it and it was her mum

"hey mum!" she said "ugh thats the now..." she said groaning "but its so far away" i shook my head at her lazyness "ugh fine- im at Tina's...yeah okay bye then!" she said hangfing up "everything okay?" i asked and she nodded,

"hey you got plans for dinner?" she asked and i shook my head "no why?" i asked "well im going to dinner with family and im wondering if you both want to come?" she asked and i nodded,

"sure when is it?" i asked "um..now" she said looking at her watch "jesus Jo thats cutting it fine!" i said and she smiled innocently "yeah but you love me!" she said and i rolled my eyes" yeah whatever!" i said,

We got in Jo's truck and we drove to the restraunt "so whats your family like now?2 i asked as we drove there "okay debriefing!" she said in a funny mannor,

"so my brother is a fitness instructor and charges way to much, my sister has a kid named Chloe who's twelve but her ex left her when Chloe was ten so its a touchy subject-they werent married or anything it was more a one night stand um... mums okay dads okay!" she said and i nodded,

"okay!" i said and she parked the truck outside a fancy restraunt "lets go!" she said. We got out out of the car and headed into the restaraunt where we were taken to a private room where all her family was,

We were greated as if we hadnt been apart for ten years, it was nice. We were all talking and laughing and it was great catching up with them again. Olive and Chloe seemed to be getting on well, Olive was mainly asking what its like to have Jo as an aunt which was funny.

It was about nine and it was still daylight but it was late. We all left and Jo laughed as we drove away "what?" i asked and she pointed to her reerview mirrow "were in tow, there all behind us!" i looked and saw all her family in there cars behind us,

"they'll be there for a good while yet!" she said as we drove on. There was comfortable silence as we drove along the quiet road. I heard Jo's breath get heavier and i saw a paniced look on her face,

"whats up?" i asked and she gulped "my breaks not working!2 i looked at her shocked "what?" i asked and she nodded, 

"slow the aceleration, cant that happen?" Olive asked and we shook our heads "not as easy as that!" Jo said and i nodded "oh god..." she said, i looke dout the front window and gulkpoed,

There was road works. There was a building being demolished and they were clearing up stray rublle. You had only acces to one lane so there were traffic lights set up- they were currently red at our end.

I was about to suggest something but it all went black.
