Behind your Smile (Inazuma Eleven Go!)

Chapter 20 : Start of the Rebellion

"Shindou-kun." Kita called as Shindou-San turned around. "What are you doing? The score order said that Tengawara wins 2-0 are you disobeying Fifth Sector's offer?" Kita asked.

Haru looked at Kita and Shindou were talking about something, but she can't hear them clearly since she's so far away from them. But Haru could heard Tsurugi's mutturing since she's closed at where he is.

"Baring his claws, is he? Idiot." Tsurugi said. The game resumed with Tengawara's kickoff. It appeared that the initial shock had settled in, and now, Tengawara wasn't holding back either. That much was obvious, given by the way the blonde, who was called Nishinosora, tackled Shindou violently. He then passed to Andou.

Andou dribbled forward, Hayami being in his way. "Out of my way!" he demanded and without even waiting for a response, he threw him aside with a violent tackle.

The ball was passed in the air this time. Shinsuke went for it but was tackled to a side by another Tengawara player. The ball was passed to Kita. Tenma, who was the closest to him, went to block him. Kita looked at him for a second, eyes holding no emotion as he told him to move.

"I won't!" Tenma replied. "I know about Tengawara. Tengawara is famous for soccer, and they're an amazing team that has played intensely with Raimon in the past. Why would a team like that need to use these unfair plays?"

Haru mentally sighed. Tenma still didn't get it. The team was scared. Scared of the Fifth Sector. Scared of being thrown out of their team. Scared of what would happen to their soccer club if they didn't do this. It was a wild assumption, Haru had to admit, but it made sense, especially when partnered with Raimon's fear and suffering.

"This is our soccer," Kita replied. "When you're told to win a match, you have to win!"

With that, Kita kicked the ball and it was with Andou in what appeared to be less than a second. Tenma followed the ball as Andou continued, "It doesn't matter how you do it."

Another kick and the ball was with Hayabusa now. "Or what plays you use," he finished as Tenma ran to him.

Hayabusa then proceeded to shove Tenma aside with a rough tackle which Haru was sure was a foul. Haru gritted her teeth as Hayabusa dribbled into Raimon's territory.

"Matsukaze!" Sangoku shouted worriedly.

"Move back the defense line!" Shindou commanded, but they hesitated to move cause they afraid to get hurt just like what had happened to Tenma.

"You look pathetic captain, it's no use being Kami no Takuto if you can't get anybody to move. The only ones resisting Fifth Sector are you three. How are you going to fight against 8 people who aren't on your side and 11 enemies?" Tsurugi asked. Shindou gritted his teeth even Haru too.

Griting her teeth, Haru made a movement to stop Hayabusa, Hayabusa glared at her. He looked for someone to pass to from the corner of his eyes as Andou passed them. Hayabusa passed but he was not quick enough. Haru intercepted the pass and dribbled the ball ahead.

Eyes darting around the field quickly, she barely managed to avoid Kita's charge. Yet, she couldn't do anything as Nishinosora took the ball with a forceful tackle. However, he couldn't get very far before Shindou took the ball and started dribbling down the field.

As he was going, he was blocked by two Tengawara players and had no choice but to pass to Tenma. Tenma dribbled the ball ahead and avoided the Tengawara players with Soyokaze Step. As he reached the goal, he looked for Shindou, only to find him blocked.

It was the spur of the moment, one Haru couldn't really explain. All she knew was that she didn't care about the crowd, or the Tengawara players, or even her own teammates. All she cared about was getting the ball in the damned goal.
