The Light of Luna

Chapter 7: My World (Yoongi's POV)

I was fixing my table when I received a call from her. This could be urgent. I abruptly answered the call.

"Hello." It was her angelic voice which always melted my cold heart. "What is it?" I acted nonchalantly.

"Uhm, are you free tonight?" Her shy voice made me smile. "What is it this time?" I answered as if I was exasperated that time. "Well, you see...my office mates wanted a drink or two tonight...." What the heck! No that can't be! I should go with her...something bad might happen to her.

"I will come." I grabbed my keys and my wallet. I hurriedly went out of the door. I didn't even bothered to turn off the light and the aircon in my clinic. I'll let my secretary do it.

"Great!" I heard the relief in her voice. "Please bring Taehyungie with you." She requested cutely. Man! How can I say no to this adorable woman? "K." I answered so she wouldn't notice the change in my tone and the increase in my heart rate. "You can invite some of your friends too." She added. "See you at Cafe Curieux. It is located at Bel-Air Star Building. See you there." And the line went off. What the fuck! She didn't even wait for me to respond. How did I ever like this woman? I knew something was off. Maybe she really doesn't want to go. And more likely she wants an alone time. How can I help her? How can I ease her worries? I asked myself as I walked towards the car park.

I put Jin hyung, Namjoon, and Taehyungie in conference call once I was in my Aston Martin Vanquish S car. They all agreed to go to the Bar to have some time out. Jin hyung and Namjoon would be sharing a ride. Taehyungie has his own car so I didn't bother to ask him for a ride. Fuck! Why did I just call that brat the way she calls him? I guess when you are with the person always you adopt their mannerisms. Oh well, couldn't help it. I love her a lot ever since God knows when.

I arrived first at the cafe and park my Baby Ash on the rear end. I hurriedly walked and immediately spotted her. She was sitting with them at the garden. There were red and white roses and wooden chairs and tables.  There were lap pillows and there was a purple curtain which serves as a divider from the other tables. The ambiance was cool and very relaxing.

"Yoongi!" I heard her called out. She was smiling like the usual as if nothing was wrong. Baby, please put your mask away. I smiled back at her. She stood and walked directly to me then out-of-the-blue she embraced me. I was caught off guard. I could feel her delicate body pressed against mine and her scent intoxicated me. I hugged her back. I don't know until when I can stop myself from kissing her. I could feel my heart rate tripled from that thought. Fuck, I need fresh air to think straight. Where the heck are those guys when you needed them the most? I hurriedly  tapped her back then pushed her away slightly. My eyes flickered to a well-built guy who kept on glaring at me.

"Yoongi-ah~!" I swear that sweet voice of her will be the end of me. She grabbed my hand and pulled me towards her colleagues.  "These are my office mates." She gestured to the three guys. "This is Jungkook." Oooh that's his name huh? I held her hand and didn't let go. "He's in the same team as me." She briefly said. "This is Jimin." She pointed to the small blondie guy. "He works in the IT department. We're partners for a couple of projects in the company." She informed me. "And this is Hobi." She pointed to the smiley guy. He looked like ball of sunshine, honestly. I felt at ease with this guy. "He's from the Vendor Maintenance Team. He's the one who took over my role." She remarked.  "Hello. Please to meet you." All the three of them stated in unison. I noticed that Jungkook wasn't comfortable that I was there. The more I need to be here then.

"Guys, this is Min Yoongi. He's a general surgeon at Asian Hospital." She briefly stated. "Please to meet you everyone." I stated in a calm manner.

"Hi Sis!" And here comes the brat. Taehyung called out as soon as he entered the location. He hugged Luna so tight that she ended up laughing. Her laugh sounded like wind chimes. Ah, the only sound, apart from music, which could calm my soul. I couldn't help but to smile. I will do everything to protect you and that happiness. I vowed.

"Hey pretty woman." Jin came and walked directly to Luna then kissed her forehead. My eyes widen and I felt a very strong urge to punch him. "Kim SeokJin!" I yelled. "Oh calm down man. I'm not stealing her." He raised both of his arms up. I pulled Luna from him and put my left arm around her shoulder while still glaring at Jin hyung. There he was, just laughing it off.

"Hi Sunshine." I heard Namjoon called from the back. I pulled her closer to me. I should have not invited these two. "Long time no see." He added. "Nice to see you Jinnie and Namjoonie." She smiled. However I could feel the irritation emitting from her. Irritation from what or should I say to whom?

"Yah! Yoongi hyung! Why so over protective with my sister?" I glared at him and he immediately hid at the back of Jin Hyung. "Taehyung, mind your manners please." This was the first time I heard her in a serious tone. I suddenly removed my hand on her shoulder. She went to her seat.

"Don't make her mad." I warned. "Sorry hyung." Tae said and I let him go.  He sat beside Luna. I sat in front of her. Beside me was Jin hyung and Namjoonie were seated. Once we were all settled down and relaxed, she introduced Taehyung, Jin hyung and Namjoon to her colleagues. And Tae immediately befriended Jungkook, and Jimin. Oh well, they are almost of the same age. While, Me and my other friends immediately became colleagues with  Hobi.

"What should we order now? I want meat trio pizza." Taehyung declared. As if on cue, Hobi called the waitress named Kyla. We placed our orders accordingly. I will be having carbonara in salted egg sauce while Luna will have pesto mushroom pizza. Taehyung, Jimin and Jungkook will have buffalo chicken, meat trio and SMEGG pizza. While Jin hyung, Namjoon and Hobi will have aglio olio, bolognese and panna sausage pizza. All ordered some beers except for Jungkook.

A couple of minutes later, Kyla and her workmate, Trixia served our orders. I noticed that Tae the Brat put a small white paper in Trixia's left pocket as she put the meals on our table. Play boy as ever. Poor ladies they are bound to have a heart ache. Everyone was in shocked when they saw the serving size. All of it were good for 2 to 3 persons. Anyway, I know and I believe we can finish it all.

While eating and drinking, most of them were discussing about different things. When suddenly... "Noona, when are you going to marry Yoongi Hyung?" The brat suddenly opened up. "I'm worried you know especially given that you have that condition." I was in shocked and couldn't respond. Only a few people knew about it. And I knew Luna won't share the information to anyone she barely know especially when she labels them as colleagues or office mates.

"Taehyung-ah~! Thank you for your concern. But you don't have to worry about my condition. " She reassured her baby bro. Luna was understanding as ever.

"So you two are engaged?" Jungkook and the rest of his gang were bewildered with the sudden revelation.
