November 20, 2016
Chapter 11
"Hey, babe. I'm on my way home now. Where are you?" I told Harry, over the phone. "I'm at my place, just hanging out. Do you want to go get some dinner?" I was too tired to do anything. There were so many costumers that came in the shop today, I was on my feet the whole time, but I was hungry. I had no time to take a lunch. "Lets just order a pizza or something, I'm really tired. OK?" "Yeah, that sounds good, love. I'll come over in about an hour." "OK, well, I'm getting out the taxi now. I'll talk to you then." "OK, bye." I hung up the phone, and went upstairs to my apartment. I started to get my key out of my purse, but when I twisted the door, it opened. "Shit," I muttered underneath my breath. I must have left it unlocked all day. I walked in, and set my purse on the kitchen counter, only to find a huge surprise on my couch.
Harry was sitting on my couch, with a puppy in his hands! "Oh my god, Harry!" He showed me his magnificent grin, and set the puppy on the ground as he stood up and pulled me into a hug. I quickly kissed his lips. I pulled away, and he pressed his beautiful smile on my lips again. The puppy came closer to me, and I picked her up, "Have you named her?" He shook his head, "I couldn't think of anything." I smiled at him adoringly. "I like Lucy." He kissed my nose, "Lucy it is, then." I set Lucy down, and we sat down on the couch. "Where will she stay, babe?" He bit his lip, "I wanted her to be able to go back and forth at our apartments, but I can't have pets at my place." He looked down, watching her playfully prance around my living room. I grabbed his hand, and proposed my idea.
"Then why don't you just move in here?" He looked up at me and showed me his perfectly cheeky grin. "Lets do it!" He agreed.
In just 5 days, Harry managed to move out of his flat, and into my apartment with me. The first night he was moved in, he cooked a fabulous meal, and the sex was out of this world.
The next morning, he wasn't there when I woke up. I walked into the kitchen, there was a cup of coffee brewing and a note on the counter: "Good morning, sleepy head. I went out to get a surprise. Should be back shortly after you wake up. All of my love- Harry xxx" I sat on the couch, and watched a bit of the news, but I couldn't focus because my mind was racing, thinking of what on earth Harry would be getting as a "surprise".
Chapter 12
I heard the door unlocking, and it took every bit of strength not to jump up and meet Harry at the door. "Tess, you awake?" He shouted from the entrance. I jumped off of the couch as he entered the living room, hiding something behind his back. I ran up and hugged him, when I released him, he revealed what was behind him, and hung it on the wall.
It was a simple, black frame, surrounding, not a picture, but a piece of copper metal. I knew instantly what it was. "Harry! Its the penny from the day we met!" I got tears in my eyes, and he put his arms around me. "I love you so much, Tess." He told me, watching the tears fall from my brown eyes. I turned to him, "I love you too, Harry. So much, its incredible." He pulled me into a long, lovely kiss. I could still taste the coffee he had drank before he left. His kisses were beyond perfect in every way, just like him.
Harry and I snuggled on the couch, holding each other, kissing, and looking into each other's eyes for what seemed like forever. We were both so in love. My life was perfect, nothing could make this any less of it.
Chapter 13
December 5, 2016, 3:00 a.m.
I heard Harry's phone ring on the nightstand, and lifted my head off of his chest and said, "Who the hell-" But was cut off by Harry answering "Hello?" His face lit up just seconds after the person on the other end answered. I mouthed: "Who?" and he put the call on speaker. It was Liam's voice, he was crying and going on about how beautiful "she" was. Then I realized it: Danielle had the baby! Emma Payne was being welcomed into our world! He kept saying how much he loved her, and telling us everyone that was there, his parents, Ruth, Danielle's parents, her sister, Louis, El, Niall, Zayn, Perrie, and Andy. "Hey, man, Tess and I will take the first flight out there tomorrow!" "Congrats, Liam!!" I yelled over the speaker. "Thank you, Tess! We both cannot wait to see you! And Harry too, of course." I smirked at Harry, he playfully rolled his eyes. "But listen, I want you guys to get some sleep, so I'll see you later! Love you both, bye!" Harry placed his phone back on the nightstand, with tears in his eyes. He held me as we watched cheesy infomercials. "I honestly can't wait until thats us." He whispered lightly, then I realized that he wasn't talking about the "Miracle Facial Cleaner" on the TV.
