With delinquent steps I approached the door. The sense of fear still sturdily within my chest and I had to willed myself to move forward. With light steps between the shattered glasses that is laid on the floor. I set the iron rod in a batting position resting it firmly on my left shoulder ready to swing it at whatever came behind that door.

Nearing the close door. I felt my body trembling with each step I take until I am standing at only an inch from the door. Hesitantly reaching for its handle with my free hand I then wrapped my shaky fingers around the cold metal handle. My breathing quicken and I had to take a deep gulp of saliva to swallow the lump that was blocking up my throat.

In one swift move I jolted the door open and mindlessly swing the weapon down towards the person only to stop the next second realizing it is my best friend gasping in shock and I froze.

"Sumi?" I muttered in complete confusion as to why my best friend that just left for her date is standing at the door, surely the date hadn't ended yet... I thought to myself.

"Sumi, what are you doing here, I could have killed you" I sharked in apprehension. Not realizing I had still held rod only inches away from her face.

"What am I doing here, why are you attacking me with a freaking rod are you crazy!" she wailed eyeing the weapon I held in horror.

It was then I had noticed the red puffy eyes and red nose resembling that of a baboons butt and tear stain cheeks mix in with a hint of dark mascara she was wearing on her face, and I knew she had been crying

"No I was just ..."I said finally withdrawing my hands to my side allowing her to straighten her bend figure "just..." She said trying to hold back her sobs and eyeing me suspiciously, urging me to continue with her exclusive eyes. "Nothing why are you crying" I asked already knowing the answer but was somewhat trying to sway away from the reason why I had attacked her.

"N-no" she stuttered and smile trying to cover her lie.

"Don't lie to me Sumi-ah, I can see right through you..." I told her, and watched as her face was about to fall apart in tears once again. I quickly dropped the weapon from my hand onto the ground pulling her into my arms in a hug for comforting. At the sound of the iron metal colliding with the ground she began crying louder over my shoulder, and it broke my heart seeing her like this

"He-he, dump-dumped... m-me" she managed to say between hiccups sniffs and sobs.

Gently patting her back offering some amount of comfort the best way I could, my own tears treated to leave my eyes seeing her hurt like this.

"* di-did he think that I- I'm some sort of joke, a toy for him to use and throw away whenever he wants..." She question bawled out through her sobs.

"Gwenchana..."I said patting her back tenderly..."He's a jerk who never deserve you to begin with" I told her kissing the top of her head resulting a few strains of her hair entering my mouth that I soon blow out, and continued combing my fingers through her hair.

The coldness of the howling wind breathed against our fresh warm skin and made us pull inside the house. That I had completely forgetting about its devastating state closing the door behind me.

"What happened?" she asked in shock watching all the broken antiques and figures laying broken on the ground.
