"hun...Please I just want you to get better...please let's go for Ja's sake..."
Mr. Dean pleaded with his wife whom only nodded her head in the slightest.
They moved out to Ohio JD being the bubbly little kid he always was as if completely unaware of his mother's condition.
"Come on buddy let's go get something to eat..."
His mother spoke softly walking into a seven eleven.
"Pops! Can I get a slurpie! Can I can I can I!?"
JD begged his father chucked and nodded his head handing his wife his wallet a kiss to her head with concerned eyes.
Mrs.Dean forced a smile and walked into the station with her son.
They walked straight to the slushie section ordering a cherry.
"Mommy do you want one?"
JD tugged at her skirt she felt calm in the empty store with her son's smile.
She sighed contently and smiled back.
"Yeah sure little buddy why not?"
She giggled and JD's eyes lit up.
She got a blue berry and they both giggled about having a brain freeze a long lasting memory before moving into their new house.
Mrs.Dean saw a therapist and ultimately got much better still having episodes but straying from the thoughts of suicide.
The perfect mother.
They went to the park one day, a healthy thing that they had been doing sense she recovered to clear her mind interact socially and spend time with her son and husband.
A little girl was on the swing smiling.
"Mommy daddy come look I'm swinging high...Mommy daddy look..."
She pleaded
She only ever got congratulated for A's and achedimic achivmets but sense this is a perfect world her parents supported her in everything else as well!
"Woah! You are up high!"
A little JD said excited running towards the girl.
"JD! Be nice introduce yourself."
His mother scolded playfully
"Yes mommy, my names JD what's yours?"
He tilted his head to the side.
In that moment something clicked in Veronica like that any journey she could ever go on or all that drama she was attracted to, that mystery and adventure, that this would be better than that.
"I'm Veronica! Veronica Sawyer!"
She chanted happily. Her friend Martha piping up from the slide cake crumbs on her face.
"I'm Martha her best friend!"
Martha grinned
Friends He had friends his mother was okay everything would be good here.
