"Hello, Marie" I swung my arms slightly, I hate being nervous. Why did he do this to me? It's been three weeks since we meet. How did he even remember me? Why hadn't I noticed him here at school before?

So many questions to ask; but instead I simply say "hi, Leo"

"Been a while, huh?"

"I guess... sorry, but I can't talk right now. I'll just come back and meet you later" I gesture to the teacher as I say this. "I'll go meet my physics teacher first" then I shot out if the room. Blaire quick to follow.

"Who's the cutie?" I nervously back away from her.

"You heard me say his name" I say simply.

"Leo? Okay, but how do you know him?"

"Just a chance encounter." Blaire glares at me. "You're not gonna let this g-"

"No" she cuts me of. So, I tell her how I know him.

"WHY WOULD YOU BE SO HOSTILE?! He obviously likes you." She exaggerates the obviously part.

"I don't know why he'd even rememb-"

"Cut the crap."

"Can we drop this?" I plead. In all honesty I didn't want him to notice how much prettier Blaire was. This time I wanted to be the one to get the guy. Just once, I wanted to be the one someone noticed.

"For now." Then we tour the school and think about the fact that the plant store boy could possible bump into me in this hallway at any time. Great.

Blaire runs into a bunch of her friends and gets flirted with by plenty of guys, as normal I just stand there awkwardly.

High school looks like it shaping up to be great.
