Miyeon POV

(At home)

"I'm back" Miyeon shouted, even though she knew Jinhee was still at work.

"Hi~" someone replied from the living room.

Miyeon jumped in shock. What the heck? No one should be home right now. Slowly, she inched her way towards the room with pepper spray and found-----

Jinhee. On the computer. Scrolling through what looked like a list of a million songs.

"What are you doing here?!" Miyeon screamed.

"Uhhhh I live here? Are you okay, Mimi? Did you hit your head somewhere?" Jinhee answered with a laugh.

"Arghh you know what I mean!" Miyeon said, trying to stay stern, but Jinhee's laugh was too contagious. Before they knew it, they were both laughing their hearts out.

"Okayyyy hahaha. My bosses had a last minute party to attend, so they closed the store early. I forgot to tell you since I was too excited about the festival. And well... I'm trying to find a song, but I have no idea."

"Right. About the festival, I checked the flyer and it said people who don't attend the university can still participate as long as they partner with someone who does. I already signed us up."

"Perfect! This is going to be awesome!"

After going over the details of the competition, Miyeon and Jinhee decided to start attacking the potentially hardest part. Choosing a song. CUE THE DRAMATIC MUSIC!!

"Ahhhhh what should we choose. Definitely a kpop song right?" Jinhee asked.

"Yes, no doubt," Miyeon replied.

"Bts?"

"Hmm, maybe another group... Btob?"

"How about girl groups? Cocosori's Mi Amor? We sang that before."

"Oh true! That turned out really nice too hahaha."

"Exactly! Omg no, wait! I know the perfect song," Jinhee semi-screamed as her eyes twinkled.

"What?"

"I'M SO SICK!!"

"Yay Apink! That song is such a bop! I already know we'll slay it," Miyeon agreed.

"Alright, it's decided then! Time to practice."

-*-*-*time skip*-*-*-

Two hours later, Jinhee and Mimi were both still in the living room. They finished splitting up the lines a while ago and was now learning the choreography. They were doing really well until Miyeon slowed down and eventually stopped.

"Hey, wanna take a break?" Jinhee asked, but there was no reply. She asked again while turning to Miyeon in confusion, but there was still no reply. There was a blank look on Miyeon's face. She was just staring at the computer where the choreography video was playing. On a closer look, however, her eyes were glazed over and unfocused. It was as if her mind floated off into la-la land.

"Miyeon~ you in there?" Jinhee tried again. But nothing.

"Are you tired? Want some water?" Still nothing.

"Hmmm, I was thinking of having some chicken alfredo tonight. What do you think?" Annnd nothing.

"Omg! Someone just passed the window. Was that Chan-"
